I had stayed at this hotel many times and all others including holiday inn but this hotel has cleanest rooms, best breakfast, and top of all great staff and service . I stayed at this hotel for last 6 months mon thru Friday and the staff are professional and they take care of guest with great service abs care . , rooms extremely clean , awesome breakfast - bacon , scrambled eggs, waffle, 4 types of bread, cerise, fruit etc etc . The rooms aren’t bad which is why I am giving 2 stars and not one, however thats where the good part ends. The wifi is terrible and I can’t connect on anything but my phone. And the worst part of all is the hot breakfast, my coworkers and I stay in a hotel every week and eat hotel breakfasts 5 days a week, and this is among some of the worst I have had. They serve the type of food I love (eggs and bacon) but the eggs are so undercooked they have the consistency of snotty grits, while on the other hand the bacon is so extremely over cooked you can literally crumble it to dust with your fingers, its like eating salty crumbly card board. Please, please, please, talk to your morning cook you have the ingredients for a great breakfast but it is absolutely being ruined.

This was the best hotel STAY with extremely clean rooms, best Wi-Fi connection, great breakfast and the best staff . Every day the staff greet you and make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good Hotel doing remodel; room remodeled. Disappointing The WiFi is weak at the end of the hall. The room has ethernet, but you have to hope to connect with WiFi first and then plug in you ethernet cable to use a wired connection and close the WiFi connection. This is a rather tedious and unnecessary process. Many times Comfort Inn Gatesville does not show up as an available WiFi. WiFi extenders are a critical need here. Not good No luggage jack. Only one ice machine on the first floor. The work desk chair needs to raise a few inches higher. No sitting table with at least 2 chairs. No ADA quality grab bars in or by the tub. I asked the front desk at check in about breakfast and the front desk said there would be eggs, meat, and oatmeal every day. Not true. Available breakfast items have no consideration for diabetics or pre-diabetics. Oatmeal is the flavored sugary kind. Breakfast 10/3 - usual sweet rolls, muffins, and waffles; no eggs; biscuits, gravy, and bacon were just barely warm. Breakfast 10/4 - usual sweet rolls, muffins, and waffles; green and red pepper omelets and sausage were just barely warm. Breakfast 10/5 - usual sweet rolls, muffins, and waffles; no eggs; biscuits, gravy, and bacon were just barely warm. Breakfast 10/6 - usual sweet rolls, muffins, and waffles; green and red pepper omelets and some sort of deep fried roll; no sausage; the omelets and rolls were just barely warm. What about plain cheese omelets and sausage or bacon EVERY day? I do not want Mexicanized only breakfast every day. What about HOT cooked oatmeal every day?…

I booked this hotel for one night so my grandkids could swim while we went to a party. We weren't told the pool would be closed. Also the hotel was under construction and we were not informed of that. My husband triped over one of the thresholds and almost fell. When we arrived 30 minutes early we were told we could not check in until 3 pm and they were rude about it. Said housekeeping wasn't finished. Also the employees had their vehicles parked under the awning so no one could pull up under it to load or unload their things. And it was raining. We had no towels in our room. The room wasn't very clean. There was food and drinks left in the mini fridge. There was no trash can in the room. All in all it was a horrible experience and I won't ever stay there again.

Booked this hotel to see our son show in his county show. All the reviews speak about the happy employees and great, refurbished clean rooms, so we booked. I love good customer service. The room is very modern and clean. The employees not so much. Checked in yesterday afternoon and the employee was less than pleasant. Maybe she didn’t feel well; we laughed about it in our room after the reviews but blew it off. This morning, I can’t blow it off. I went to the the front desk for another towel and bath mat because we got put in a handicap room and the shower curtain doesn’t go down low enough so everything is soaked. First I asked if gym was open and she had to think about it — weird because the questions about the gym were sketch when I asked that employee. Asked for an extra towel and she headed back completely annoyed I was asking her to get up from her chair, I suppose — then I said can I have a bath mat too — she may not have heard me. Handed me a towel and I said how about the bath mat? She literally huffed and walked back to find one but couldn’t 🤷♀️ I apologized that maybe she didn’t hear me but explained we are in handicap and everything is soaked. Here’s where it gets good... I said, yeah, not sure why we are in handicap when it should be saved for someone who needs it. She said, yeah, you booked online. I said yes, through your site. She said you booked it. I said why would I book handicap if I don’t need it? She said well you booked it. I said I booked king, not handicap.... I took the high road decided not to fight with her and walked away... She literally mumbled you did book it. Rude rude rude and completely uncalled for.…

Our first hotel stay in many months and I must say that my expectations were exceeded. The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Not only was my room clean the lobby and breakfast area was clean as well. There was a decent variety of items available for breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was easily accessible. Although we did not swim, the pool looked very inviting.
