She made us feel special and welcome from the start. Our room was our own hideaway, but the game/TV room was available for use, as well as the great...

This Lodge is so relaxing with the beautiful decorations and log cabin feel. Janice's stories are a bonus that you won't forget. Almost like going home. BTW, make sure and go to the pie shop and the Green Pickle Burger in town while you are there. The evening meal at the lodge for 75 dollars was worth every penny...Delicious!!!! O...

Janice Lewis is a hostess who takes you back to the days when Southern hospitality was the norm, and not the exception. She greets you in such a warm, sweet, and welcoming way that you can't help but feel you have known her for a long, long time. Her lovely home is decorated as an Indian Lodge which fits both...

We had an excellent two nights here thanks to the friendly and hospitable host. The house was built as a b&b in a peaceful location about 5-10 minutes out town. Great breakfasts. Clean, good bathroom and comfortable bed. No complaints at all.

Recently stayed at Cedars on the Brazos with 4 other friends. What a wonderful treat it was to stay there. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves. Great accomodations. Our hostess, Janice, was so sweet and we loved hearing the story of how the B&B came to be (all in God's Timing) during a wonderful breakfast the next morning. A...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time away from the hustle, bustle of city life. Cedars was a wonderful quiet retreat for us and Janice served us a delicious, hearty breakfast. The location in the Pines was beautiful.

Talk about out of the way. Take a state hwy and turn left onto a country road. You keep seeing 'Dead End' signs. Couple miles down you hit a pea gravel road. This is her driveway. Seems like another mile to the lodge. But well worth the trip. Janice is so nice. Her hospitality is top notch. She is accommodating...

We came to Glen Rose for a mid-week spring break with our son. I had always wanted a 2nd home in a log cabin so I thought this would be the place for us to stay. Janice Lewis is the proprietor of a lovely log home/bed and breakfast ="Cedars on the Brazos". We had the opportunity to stay with her last Sunday overnight in the Commanche Sunset suite.
