I was here for a conference. The property is so big it takes the entire time of the conference to learn your way around. There is a lot to do here other than the business of the conference. Plenty of places to eat and drink. I have been here at Christmas time. It is well decorated and an attraction for...

While the hotel is nice, be prepared to overspend on anything affiliated with the hotel. If you want to go somewhere outside of the hotel to dine or shop, be prepared to travel at least 20 to 30 minutes, which if you don't have a car rental, gets very expensive. The hotel does offer shuttle services to various places around...

Dear Otter2269, It was a pleasure hosting you and we appreciate the review. Here at the Gaylord Texan, our team wants to provide nothing but the best hotel experience and we sincerely apologize that we fell short of that while you were with us. Wow! What a surprise. Would I stay here again? Definitely. I was blown away at how well done this property is. It’s got a Riverwalk/Alamo-esque theme going and it results in a very upscale property. Marriott has this listed as a level 7 property (8 is highest) in their rewards program and this property definitely warrants that classification. The service...

This place is everything you would expect from a Gaylord property. Excellent rooms, beautiful scenery, huge complex, and distant parking. The only real compliant is the signs. We made a wrong turn somewhere and walked for 30 minutes trying to get back to the lobby.

The hotel is grand and amazing. Everything was perfect! The restaurants were awesome, they had a great wine shop and there was plenty to do at the hotel. This is a "resort" so prices are higher but I knew that going in.

I know this review seems lengthy but I try to include things people may want to know that others may not think of. We stayed for our 21st anniversary. We got an executive king suite. There was lots of closet space (2 closets), 2 televisions for those that watch, office area with a desk, comfortable beds and pillows, and great...

Beautiful place easy to walk around, rooms are quiet you can't hear the makeshift waterfalls , beds are comfy ,soft pillows I don't recommend the cantina restaurant food was horrible and our waiter didn't care, I wish I was told that the water park is only open during summer Memorial Day thru Labor Day but the outdoor pool was great...

Like all of the Gaylord properties, this one is also massive. Like the rest of them, this one also has a lot plant. A massive greenhouse, but great shops with sauces and rubs. Not as many restaurants inside as the property in Nashville. This locations has a small water park.

I stayed here in early May 2017. The property is gorgeous. The artwork is stunning. The facilities are fabulous. The staff is friendly and courteous. There is one major annoyance. The signage in and around the property is wholly inadequate. Because of some of the indoor features, you might find yourself in a dead end. Places to get to which...

Stayed at the resort for a function at the resort. Was a very nice place for holding an event. Room was very nice. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey. You will be charged an extra fee called a resort fee upon check out. It is a long walk from the self parking to the front desk. They were doing some...
