They don't offer early check in and will charge $40 for early check in. If you go to the gym they let you go to anytime fitness nextdoor. Really helpful. Location is good and safe. Far enough from base but a good location for restaurants and shopping.

Love staying at that super 8. Great location. No one bothers you It’s very peaceful and quiet. The staff is nice and Polite also the room was very clean and brought me fresh items anytime I needed them.

The room service was perfect. They where very nice, polite and catered to my every need. Management is always on hand to assist with anything you needed. They greet you with a smile and make sure that your stay is far more than expected..

This is by far the nicest place to stay in Fort Hood area. The entire place is clean and safe and the rooms are very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family and I plan on coming back soon.

I stay in the area several times a month. My first time here and I can’t express enough how this place is a bar above others in the area. Newly renovated. Clean rooms and hallways. Friendly staff. Will be my new stay for future travel. Weight off my daily stress.

A few years before my current visit, I chose this hotel due to the air conditioner at the home we were renting breaking down and it was great! It stands to reason that years later, I would return here (and I say "here" because I am actually submitting this review from my room!) when returning to the area to visit. Having recently lost my father for whom I was single-handedly providing care and subsequently placing my mom in an assisted living facility, I NEEDED this trip! After driving the TWENTY hours it takes to get to TX from NC, I wanted and needed to rest and relax.
MY HAD THINGS CHANGED and I should have noticed the change when checking in and noticing a PILE of bed linen (not sure if it was clean or dirty) on the floor behind the check-in desk in plain view. When we got to our room and pulled back the covers to check the bed, we noticed that the blanket had a burn hole in it, possibly from a cigarette. The bathroom seemed as though the hotel is operating on a Skelton budget as there was ONE TOWEL, ONE FACE CLOTH, and ONE HAND TOWEL for both me and my daughter. When we showered, we stood in dirty water as the plug in the tub would not remain in the raised position to allow the water to drain out of the tub. When we complained, the housekeeper for our floor was called in ON HER DAY OFF (and I only know that because she was sure to express that to me when she entered our room) and came into the room using the MOST FOUL LANGUAGE! She said that she had put two sets if towels in this room and that the b- - -ches that work here are treacherous but they were f- - -ing with the right one now! She added a rant about the m----f---ears as well but by this time I just wanted her out and therefore I can't recall exactly the comment. In her rant, my daughter emerged from the bathroom and the housekeeper apologized to HER for her language!
I realize this review is lengthy but I honestly wanted to give the REAL TRUTH about my experience here that you might make an informed decision!

This hotel is only a few months old. It was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to have a new blanket and the sheets were high thread count, making them very soft. The pillows were just right too. Having a 42" LCD TV was a treat. There was a nice desk (free wi-fi included) and a comfortable office chair, along with a nice upholstered easy chair. The hotel was quiet as could be (we didn't hear a peep out of anyone, nor any slamming doors). I was amazed to realize the next morning that our room was next to the elevator, as we never heard it being used. The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Killeen/Ft. Hood area and would recommend it to anyone. This is a jewel of a place to stay, as the price is VERY reasonable, especially since it includes a light breakfast.

I enjoyed this hotel very much. It was clean and smelled very nice. The room was well kept and the staff was professional. Very knowledgable about the area and history. The food was varied and well prepared.

The room was pretty clean and smelled fine when first walking in. Bathroom was fairly clean, but still had some hair in the bath tub. When we went to bed late that night, there was something under the sheet near the foot of the bed. Pulled sheet up from mattress and found a needle syringe cap between the sheet and mattress cover. Reported it to front desk staff the next morning. All he said was, "we'll look into it".

I asked for handicap room several days before we arrived and was told I would get one. I DID NOT, then I was told the next day I'd get one but didn't. We were taken to a room with a high bed and a tub, can;t use either. Mr Patel shouted at me and told me this hotel was not a part of "Super 8". I said he had Super 8 signs and he said he was independent. I slept in a chair the night we were there because I was told the next day we would be in a handicap room. Patel was RUDE! When he took us to a room that he said was handicap he said I should make it work. We had reservations for 4 nights so we left and went to Comfort Inn, they have low beds and a walk in shower. The lady that checked us in at Super 8 remember me and said I did ask for a handicap room but someone else was in it and we would be moved the next day. Mr. Patel was not nice at all. Why did he shout at me? Before we checked out I asked for a discount for the one night because I could not get into the bed and he would not give me one. If this hotel is not part of Super 8, like he said he needs to take all of the Super 8 sighs down!
