Clean and friendly staff with good suite layout and solid shower. Convenient to many restaurants and a few grocery stores. Couch setting area and desk set up gave you lots of options to relax at night and to bring food back to the room to enjoy a game on TV. Free breakfast gave enough options to have different items throughout the week. Parking lot well lit and easy access to the beltway.

I came here to stay with my son on October 29th for a baseball tournament. That night my truck was parked right in front of the lobby entrance and my truck was vandalized. They took all my wheels and left it outside on bricks between 530am-6am. I wouldn’t stay here it’s not safe if they did this right in front of the lobby.

Our room was clean, and my special requests had all been accommodated. However, I was very disappointed to find that this property has "opted out" of some elements of the Bonvoy program, particularly as regards benefits for elite members. I was also disappointed that we found a note on our door on Thanksgiving Day that the housekeeping staff had been given the day off. While I don't mind the gesture per se, I do mind that there was no disclosure of this during the booking, and there was also no credit offered. If a hotel cuts service, they should compensate guests somehow. For management's purposes -- I was in room 405, from Wednesday, November 27 to Saturday, November 30.

I always like to read some of the recent reviews before I take the time to write a review. I wasn't at this hotel for a Festival, so my experience my differ from some of the more recent reviews. The property is modern, clean, smoke-free, well maintained and operated. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the room was spotless. It's everything that I would expect from a Marriott branded hotel property. Some might write a terrible review about towels charges, extra deposits, etc for a drunken festival of some sort. But, you need to take that with a grain of salt. This is a great place & operated in a manner of what you would expect!

My girlfriend and I have been a Marriot customer for a very long time and I have never experienced such horrible customer service as we did at this particular hotel. We were asked if we were here for the event down the street and said yes. We were then told we had to put down a $250 deposit, which was never mentioned when booking the hotel online or on any website. When we told the lady at the front desk it was never mentioned online she said, “ yeah a lot of people are saying that, but there’s nothing we can do about it”. Paying the deposit was not a big deal, it just would’ve been nice to know. She then handed us a paper to sign of a list of things not to do, which was not given out to every single guest. Thoughtout our stay we received reminder notes on our doors to stay quite in the halls to avoid disturbing the people who were here for a business trip and that there was a curfew at 10 pm on Sunday. We will not be booking at this hotel again.

Response from Dafne T, General Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Northwest/Willowbrook
Responded 1 Nov 2018
Narissa, we do appreciate you taking the time to leave a review of your recent lodging experience with us. As with all of our guests, we appreciate your business and consideration to stay at our hotel. I sincerely apologize for your check-in experience, from my understanding your experience made you feel as if your were being singled out due to the event you were attending and that should never be the matter when ALL guest occupying rooms were under the same guidelines as the others. When booking your stay with us, all the details and requirements were posted on the website so no one would not be blindsided by the $250 authorization and the waiver that must be signed by all guest during that weekend. It is our duty to assure our guests will have a comfortable and peaceful environment. Everyone in the hotel received the notices you did and all were okay with that. Our guests are important to us and we want our guests to respect all that are lodging with us. Disturbing other guests, excessive noise, running in the hallways, loitering, etc., were all things detailed in the waiver you signed stating you would abide by those guidelines. It would be common courtesy anywhere you stay to not be disruptive to other people. Our guest want to feel safe, comfortable, and at peace when staying with us, I do apologize that following a few rules to respect others was included in your bad experience.

This Hotel is pretty new and clean. The staff was great and very helpful. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, I loved that the shower was HUGE, breakfast was good. I would probably pick this hotel again over LQ. Don't get me wrong LQ is pretty good too but you can't beat new...

My third time at this property as a result of business trips. Couldn’t be easier to find off the tollway although a little awkward getting to the actual hotel after the turn off. Front desk team is always pleasant and knowledgeable and the rooms have always been clean, well lit, good Wi-Fi and quiet. Breakfast is as good as most and the attendant is extraordinarily pleasant. There’s a happy hour on Wednesday evenings that offers up beer and wine and a reasonable snack. I’ll be coming back!

This was not a perfect stay. The check in clerk (as part of work she needed to do) was busy when I checked in and was slow to get me into the system for wi-fi access. She then did a great job checking with me to follow up, and was overall friendly and professional. The Hulu built in to the TV (a great new feature in some hotels, really appreciated) would never play right--maybe an Internet connection or speed issue. So I was inclined to give them four stars for this stay. Then I went to breakfast. Now, they could use a little more seating, especially small tables for people traveling solo like me, but (a) biscuits and gravy, (b) cheese omelettes instead of just scrambled eggs, and (c) good fresh fruit. Maybe they don't have great breakfast every day, but compared to so many placed like this that are skimpy, I appreciate they had good choices and kept it well stocked along the way. It's a relatively new hotel that's clean and modern. No-brainer for me to stay here again when back in this area.
