Clean comfortable room and a nice breakfast. Didn't really need anything else. There is little in the way of shopping for necessities nearby though (ie. no Walgreens or anything like that) and the only dining close by is a Whataburger and McDonald's.

Great Location and nice rooms. Room was unexpectedly large with a suite, couches, etc. Location felt safe and it was convenient to many attractions downtown Houston. The premises were gated and security felt safe.

Nice rooms and very clean, loved everything in the room, Love the big lighted mirror in the bathroom and had a excellent showerhead in the bath which I really appreciate, The only drawback was the breakfast, it is very very skimpy, no eggs, no meat, they did have waffles but no sugar free syrup which they really should carry, and there was also no oatmeal, luckily I always pack some oatmeal in my suitcase, And it would not hurt them to carry some cinnamon roll or donuts or maybe both for breakfast, Shipleys donut is close by and with an additional few items would make a very pleasant breakfast,

We arrived around 12pm, walked in the lobby, I said to they lady behind the counter, checking in. She rudely responded something along the lines of no reservations - which confused me as we had a reservation. I said we have a reservation, when can we check in, she responded 3pm. She had no professionalism , no manners nothing. The parking lot was empty, I imagined they had empty rooms, all we wanted to do was dump our bags. We were going to a baseball game, so weren't going to be back until late, I think we got back to the hotel a little before midnight and the man behind the desk wasn't impressed we hadn't been checked in earlier and kind of made it out, they didn't do check-ins this late - generally I think this hotel just doesn't like checking people in!! Anyway he checked us in, said the lady at 12pm should have done it. He gave us the room most closest to the desk, I wasn't impressed with our room selection. However, we were just there to sleep for the night. The water temperature in the shower was only warm, and some of towels had yellow stains on. The bed creaked, every time I turned it made a noise, the light from the lobby shined through underneath the door, and the AC didn't blow that cold. Breakfast was lack luster, couldn't even get any water. Wouldn't really recommend, you'll survive for the night, but I slept terribly.…

I am a driver and just spent 13 hours on a tour bus. Called about getting checked in at 11:00am and was told check in time is at 3pm. Waited until 2:38pm and went to hotel. Asked about getting checked in and was told by the person at the front desk that no rooms are ready. So I had a seat in the lobby. 1) Your not going to tell me that the hotel was sold out last night and no rooms are available. 2) They have been cleaning rooms since 12pm and none of them are cleaned by 2:30, I think not. 3) Suddenly at 3:02pm all rooms were cleaned, available and ready to check into. Summary of this review is that if your expecting any flexibility this is not the hotel to stay at. I will not recommend or stay at this hotel again. As a driver I spend 200+ nights a year at hotels and this is the first to leave me sitting in the lobby.…
