From the minute you arrive you are welcomed to this beautiful property. I loved relaxing on my balcony overlooking the pool, from coffee in the morning to wine in the evening. The room was beautifully appointed, and the candle delivered during turndown service was just one more perfect touch.

Excellent accommodations and very attentive staff. Hotel ZaZa in the Museum district goes above and beyond to ensure their guests get an absolutely wonderful experience. We have many options regarding Hotels in Houston, but we always choose Hotel ZaZa. From to Spa treatment to the poolside experience, service and taking care of their guest is their number one priority. Thank-you for making my wife’s Birthday a memorable experience with the complimentary bottle of Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Hotel ZaZa always exceeds our expectations!!

I arrived on Sunday, 3/26. I checked in late and went to the restaurant. My server was Kayla. I the main menu was about ti change to a late night menu. My server, Kayla hurried ti place my order, she was friendly and didn't not seem put out as a result of my late order. Tonight, I ate dinner again and Kayla was my server again. Management must recognize she is a keeper. Friendly, yet professional and polite. She checked on the tables she cared for and did it with a smile and sincerity.

Love the Hotel Zaza. It is the perfect combination of a bit funky mixed with luxury and the polar opposite of the big chain hotels. Stayed overnight in one of the suites after hosting a large event in their ballroom. And every part of the process, from booking the ballroom, choosing the menu, set-up and load out, was easy and drama free. The staff are capable and know their jobs and execute them with precision and professionalism. Kliebert Estrada was amazing to work with for the scheduling etc. and Juan Ruiz, Banquet Captain, made everything seamless and enjoyable on the night of the event. He even arranged to have a late night snack of pizza and french fries delivered to our suite b/c we were so busy making sure our guests where having a good time that we didn't have a chance to eat. PERFECTION! The suite we stayed in was huge and very comfortable. However, it was a little dark in areas where there needed to be light - the bathrooms. The fridge was stocked with all sorts of delicious drinks, but there was no bottle opener anywhere to be found. The beds are very comfortable, but no extra pillows in any of the closets and not enough towels in the bathroom. All pretty minor problems and easily solvable. One note I would have is that the room needs an update or standard maintenance work. The tub filler faucet was loose, the hand held sprayer leaked everywhere, there were a few cracked tiles, etc. Nothing major, but should be addressed.

Super fun and funky decor and vibe. Hubby loved the partially clad woman gracing the headboard of our comfy queen bed. Awesome location for museum hopping. Restaurant was good.. brussel sprouts, poke and flatbread were all very good.

A beautiful hotel, great location, staff was friendly, room attractive with plenty of outlets for all your electronics, and Wi-Fi was good. They even offer a free shuttle service to anything within 3 miles of hotel. Many hotels now have more modern TV systems that allow you to access Amazon Prime and Netflix on the TV and sign in with your own account but this one has a DirecTV system that can't do that. No big deal but nice to know Asked about a newspaper - maybe millennials never ask for that - and was told none are available but the free shuttle service could take me someplace where I could buy one. Seemed odd for a hotel at this price point. Didn't lower price hotels used to have copies of USA Today and higher one had local paper and WSJ? It was unseasonably cold in Houston the 2 nights I stayed. The heating system could "heat" the room but clearly the thermostat calibration was way off or else it is incapable of controlling the due to its design - see picture . There is a heating/cooling vent above the entrance door for the central heat/AC. Just below it next tot he door frame is the thermostat which this has no idea what the temperature is elsewhere in the room or the bathroom. When I arrive in room, it was cool so I set the temperature to 75 and went out for a while. Still cold when I got back. By turning it to 80 I could get heat but no real control of the actual temperature. Call the desk and the house engineer came. He used an IR sensor to confirm heat was coming out and said it was OK. There was heat, but no real control. Otherwise the hotel made a great impression

My better half and I recently visited Houston for the first time for the rodeo and stayed at Hotel ZaZa in the Museum District. We initially chose ZaZa because it was a dog-friendly hotel that looked appealing based on the overall decor we saw in photos online. I can confirm that it was indeed dog friendly (they even gave our Coco girl a goodie bag), and it was definitely full of incredible decor elements throughout the hotel. ZaZa even left champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room as a surprise (we were celebrating our anniversary). Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our mini getaway (we were visiting from Austin) and look forward to checking out the other locations as well!

I have been staying at Hotel Zaza for business travel for over 3 years but recently booked a weekend stay with my wife and 3 daughters (15, 14, and 3yrs old). The management, staff, and reservations desk really made it one of the most enjoyable stays for my entire family. The rooms were impeccable, as usual, but the valets, shuttle driver and consierge were the ones that really impressed my ladies with how polite and personable they were. The shuttle service that took us to museums and shopping at Riverside Village were prompt and very courteous. I know I will find myself booking more weekend getaways for my family at the Zaza because I was TOLD that I would, on our trip home :)

After a long day of travel we arrived to find the driveway packed and took 10 minutes to get close enough to drop our luggage off and valet. When we walked in we were greeted by Alexis at the front desk, and she immediately put us at ease and checked us into our room. She took care of us all weekend! The hotel is located in a great area of Houston, the musuem district. There’s plenty to do within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here. The only con is the room didn’t have a coffee maker or full length mirror. Great service.

Discover20921315149, Thank you for staying at Hotel ZaZa Museum District! Spring Break is a popular time for families to come to the Museum District and enjoy the park, zoo, museums, and etc. This is the main reason for the extra traffic in the area. Alexis is a superstar! We will share your comments with her. Please let us know when you plan to come back. Have a great day! Best, Ian H. Bush Area General Manager, Houston Email: ibush@hotelzaza.com
