Stayed here over the weekend to see Swift concert. We were able to take the metro train over to and back from NRG Swift stadium. Hotel was busy, but found the rooms to be clean and staff cared about our stay. Breakfast was very good with the spinach quiche!! Will stay again when in downtown!!!!

Hotel doesn't seem that old, but does appear quite worn in spots. The staff at the front desk were efficient and helpful, but the facilities themselves are the drawback here more than anything else. Gym is small but functional. Not the worst hotel in the area depending on the price you pay for the room/night.

Trying to get ahold of the front desk to fix a billing issue. After no less than seven calls and two emails over two weeks, I still was not able to get them to resolve. The breakfast is, by far, the worst I have had in any three star hotel. Steer clear.

Fantastic rooms and a decent included breakfast. Really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. It was convenient to everything we needed, 2 minute walk to the light rail and close to restaurants. If I ever end up in Houston again this will do me.

I can honestly not recommend this hotel. The bathroom shower had mold all around, the shower door leaked water all over the bathroom floor even when full closed causing a slippery floor. Desk area did not look like it has been wiped down in weeks - sticky stuff all over it. However, the biggest issue was that the lock (Bolt on door) did not work. As a female traveling alone on business I did not feel safe considering there were homeless people sleeping on the street at the entrance to the hotel AND the doors were not secure leading into the hotel at 9:15pm (side entrance had a swipe pad but the door was not secure and did not require a room key to get in the door - with limited to no visibility for the front desk staff to monitor who was coming and going) when I returned to the room to realize that the lock did not function correctly. …

Good hotel, with new and modern rooms. Positive points: large rooms, with table, sofa, excellent bed and huge bathroom. Small room as a wardrobe, with plenty of space for clothes and luggage. Negative/Improvement points: No safe inside the room. Room I had stayed (706) is close to the elevator and you can hear the noise during the night. Shower door not well designed and bathroom got really wet after bath. Downtown Houston is a terrible location. Few options to dinner, no options for shopping, not even a CVS or Walgreens nearby. Only advantage was that the hotel was close to the place of the Conference that I had attended.

First and fore most I want to say Keiandra who works at the front desk is amazing. She is so helpful and sweet. She saved my trip. The customer service here is better than most. The hotel is overall very nice. it is older so has a few issues that would come along with an older hotel. I don't want to knit pick because our overall stay was great.

Dear Springhill team I really appreciate how out of the way all of you go to make your customers feel comfortable and cheered up. Each and every staff member I met - had a joie de vivre abt themselves. Start right to the end. Especially wanted to shout out to Estefani and Ken - they were smiley cheery helpful and caring. All of them Dina, and another person. The hotel is a steal at this price ranges in downtown inn such a special vibe. Breakfast is satiating that you can jump start your day right at. All rooms have a suite element which helps keep work and personal space seperate. Good luck Andre and team. Hope you recieved my written note too!! Your team deserves to be appreciated

Booked this hotel w points for one night. Upon arriving at the hotel the valet (only parking option) was a huge cluster. This building houses 3 Marriott's in 1 building - the front desk and valet are not equipped for this. The entry door to Spring Hill Suites was broken, and because of this was hard to find where to check in. Our room was okay with a nice view. Only 2 towels in the room w 1 wash cloth - guess things have gotten tight at Marriott. Upon checking out the valet was another cluster - def understaffed in the valet area. Don't waste your money with Spring Hill Suites, Courtyard or Residence Inn - way better options in downtown.

Stayed here multiple times for business. Good central downtown location, generally among the most affordable rates downtown. Nice suite rooms, that are new and well kept. Staff is friendly and there's free breakfast included usually with the room rates.
