We arrived from an overseas trip in the wee hours of the morning and elected to not make the 2 hour drive from IAH back home after traveling for 30 hours. So we stayed at the Marriott airport.. What a great experience, but before I get into the details, travelers should be aware the the train under the airport stops working at 12:30 AM, so we had to walk for a couple of stops down the underground tunnel to the hotel. On arriving at the front desk, to our surprise there was a short line, signaling that this is truly a 24-hour front desk. We didn't have to wait long and check in was smooth and friendly. We found our room quickly and were asleep less than 30 minutes after arriving. The room and bathroom were spotless (non-negotiable for me). The beds were very comfortable -- a signature Marriott product -- and surprisingly the room was quiet (we're right in the middle of an airport and yet I didn't hear a sound). Next day we headed down for breakfast and what a spread! Eggs, piles of bacon, fruit, pastries, juices, coffee, biscuits, anything you could want. The concierge was delightful and welcoming. My flight departing IAH got cancelled so I was stuck in Houston overnight until I could get rebooked on another flight the next morning. I instantly picked this Marriott IAH hotel - mainly due to its convenience and proximity. This hotel is the only one located INSIDE IAH airport, in between Terminals B and C. In fact, there is an underground free subway that can easily take you from any of the IAH terminals and the Marriott IAH - the underground walkway is also great if you want some exercise. Lots of flight crew stay here. My North Tower room had comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom/walk-in shower. I didn't have time this trip to make use of, but this hotel has an excellent fitness center - with an abundance of treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, free weights, and cables system. This hotel also provides a scrumptious breakfast buffet (fee-based or M Club) - with cooked to order eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, juice. I was laying over overnight so stopped here. It was a great decision! Train from airport terminal straight into lobby. Comfortable rooms/beds. Staff everywhere is great! My husband was suffering from a cold when we checked in and Ginger at the elite reception counter was so sweet! She sent up a pot of tea and a bowl of soup for him so he could eat and go straight to sleep! What a thoughtful employee - well done Marriott! Lounge and gym were awesome too. I'll stop here again!

I love the fact that this is located right in IAH airport and you can simply take the in airport train to the hotel lobby. You do pay for the convenience though so make reservations in advance if you want a better rate. Great service from the hotel staff as well as the restaurant staff. Good food (HUGE portions) at the on site restaurant and friendly servers that were happy to have us. Nice, clean rooms and a great place to stay if you have an overnight layover in Houston.

We booked this hotel for after our cruise. With a toddler, this was ideal since we didn't need to take any external transportation to the airport. The room was in the South Tower so a fair amount of walking is needed. If your reservation has breakfast included, confirm that at the check in desk. The room was cozy, on the 6th floor and had a view of the terminal and runway which our toddler loved. The coffee tea in the room is complimentary, but the Internet is NOT. We were charged for Internet access, so if it shows up in your credit card statement, get that verified at the front desk. The washroom was clean and well spaced with ample supplies. Breakfast was included for us and featured the usual Continental stuff, but also had an omelette station, French toast, and a selection of baked goods and fruits. Raul, at the front desk, was great and our stay was quite pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.…

This is a standard Marriott experience and is very convenient to the airport. They also have a bar/restaurant, M club and pool. I did not notice any plane noise and slept well. The front desk does get busy at times and can cause a wait to check in.

Had a good stay the night before our flight. The tram makes it easy to get to the terminals. Truck stayed parked in the garage while we were gone. Will stay again when we are going on a trip. Sure made the morning much easier.

These are standard Marriott hotel rooms except at this location they have stripped the desk and chair as well as the bench seat. I walked in and thought the room was under construction due to the lack of furniture - see photos. I called the front desk who told me only 10 rooms had a desk and chair but they could bring up a chair. Please look at the photos with a Magic Chef cube fridge propped up on a table with the cord stretched against a bare wall that lacked furniture. Restaurant was packed and not done well. The host at the podium handed me a photo copied menu on thick paper that was very worn and said " sit at any table in the room behind the bar" . Service was slow but the burger was ok. I am sure that with this location this place makes a lot of cash but if you want a nice room keep looking.…
