Beautiful hotel. Had turn down bed service every night while we were out eating dinner. Loved the walking trail. Beautiful blooming azaleas. Quiet oasis from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Comfortable pillows.

The staff is very friendly and professional which is important to me. Kenny and Ziggys is close by that is to die for. Great place to stay for the holiday season. The streets and buildings are decked out in lights.

Our group of 7 women have been taking an annual weekend trip to The Houstonian for at least 10 years. We have been extremely satisfied until the last two years. We stay on the consierre floor. It provides a nice large area for us to be together and visit with each other. They provide appetizers and alcoholic drinks and later...

This hotel continues to excel and please!! The service is superb and the hotel is a delightful place. It is close and convenient to the Galleria area and very accessible to downtown, while feeling like it is away from it all. Absolutely top notch from the way they handle room service, which is always right on time, to the great...

This property is nestled so well within the hustle and bustle of the busy galleria area, you'd never know it was there. I'm a native houstonian and I NEVER EVEN KNEW IT WAS THERE! Not only are the grounds well manicured, the rooms and facility are rich with old world charm. The gym is new and as spacious as the...

Stayed at the Houstonian now 3 different times in 2016 and started the year in 2017 with another stay. From the moment I get out of the Uber - the staff is so incredible. You can tell they have a great leader as they are all upbeat, call you by name and are genuine. The grounds are maintained so well...

Recently spent a week here on business. The Lobby entrance was dramatic, the room comfortable and the staff was lovely. The meeting room was was also cared for by an attentive staff with a nice continental breakfast set out every day. They also set out food every day for all using conference rooms. While I couldn't enjoy the pool or...

Great hotel with a fantastic fitness centre that makes all the difference when on a business trip. Relaxed hunting lodge style ambience, rooms are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Always my first choice when travelling the Houston. Only negative is how confusing it can be at first to figure your way around.

Great location, attentive staff, rooms that are tiny, dark and represent 1960's luxury. No stall shower, not room for luggage for two people, dated lighting in sleeping area and bathroom, poor use of exterior light. In short, find another property if you're used to staying in Four Seasons, Park Hyatt or similar hotels. It's ok for one person there for a...

We have lived in Houston for 15 years but have never been to this hotel. We decided to do a "staycation" for a few days between Christmas and New Year. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Very welcoming, great ambience and lovely festive decorations. We stayed on the concierge level and the extra amenities it provided helped to make...
