This hotel is centrally located in the arts district and is perfect if you are going to a ballet or play. It is also near the aquarium. From the moment we arrived, we were given a lot of attention. Not only does the hotel look great and was clean, but it offered us champagne and juice for the kids. Each room comes equipped with snacks. The manager talked to us and he specifically said that if we wanted more of anything, to let him know. Well, the kids and my husband quickly gulped down the chocolates and kind bars, so we did ask for more for our plane journey the next day. The hotel gave us a bunch, and it is because of the exceptional service, that I highly recommend the hotel.
This was my first and hopefully not my last stay at the stunning hotel. My room included stunning art work, luxurious bath toiletries, yummy COMPLEMENTARY snacks and ultra comfy bed. Upon my arrival to my room, I was greeted with a complimentary cheese plate to welcome my stay. Once I was able to get settled into my room, I headed downstairs to the restaurant to meet up with a friend for lunch. I decided the try the Lancaster salad and oh my goodness, that was the MOST delicious salad, I've ever tasted. The service at our meal was so amazing that we decided to head to the bar to continue our visit. At the bar we tried the Candied Pecan Old Fashion drink...sooo delicious! The hotel stay included the most delicious breakfast, complete with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, fruits, oatmeal and various breads and pastries, all complimentary and part of your stay. The hotel more than exceeded my expectations and made sure every tiny detail was taken care of. HIGHLY recommend The Lancaster Hotel…
Stayed there for New Years with my family and I loved it. Excellent service, location, professional staff, clean. The restaurant food was delicious and friendly staff. Rooms are big, include goodies (that is weird on this days). It is an elegant hotel, beautiful art. Breakfast was really good, high quality ingredients and delicious taste. But the best thing is the service, we felt welcome every time we got to the hotel.
I was so happy to return to the Lancaster, to the newly remodeled and improved version! The moment I walked in, the lobby was bright and cheerful and clean, and the restaurant was bustling and fun. My suite was spacious and comfortable, with a tangerine and a hand written note from the manager in the entry. Also they offer free drinks and mini bar snacks which they replenish daily. My visit left nothing to be desired. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to review it as it was so such a positive experience. I didn’t want to leave!
This is a late post. My fiancé and I stayed at The Lancaster Hotel for our wedding weekend. We were to be married at Mercer Botanic Gardens…but the day of the wedding it rained. Mr. Thomas Hartwell, the hotel manager, accommodated my fiancé and I and allowed us to have our ceremony there at the hotel. The hotel is very nice and the customer service is above and beyond! Thank you again to the staff and Mr. Hartwell for making our special day even more special.
