Was rather disappointed in this Marriott. Tho the lobby was nice the rooms were rather outdated ,after being told I had a nicer room. In addition no mini fridge in rooms like stated. Maintence came to work on the air unit but could never get it below 76 degrees. Was told no other rooms were available. The pool was small...

I spent two nights at this Marriott during a business trip to Dallas. Hotel is located right next to a lake. View was nice and room was quiet. It is very much a standard Marriott with nice staff and warm atmosphere. Sheets were a bit old in the room. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. I had lunch and breakfast...

Rooms were ok - nice view of the lake. Service in the bar area was VERY slow and my water tasted like bleach. Just felt like this was slightly below a standard full service Marriott. Housekeeping service was not up to normal standards either.

This used to be one of my favorite hotels when in Dallas. The location is great - lovely setting with Carolyn Lake next to the hotel. Excellent for evening walks or jogging. The hotel service is poor. While the employees are friendly and professional, it take several requests or calls to get things done. I had to ask 3 times...

I spoke to the Head Chef about an issue wit my meal and he was very rude. My dressing tasted expired and the chicken on my salad was raw. He tried to tell me that it was cooked all the way. His name was Brain and he said he was the head chef but was very upset to hear all...

This Marriott property is a great one. Right in the heart of the Irving and Las Colinas business areas and not far from DFW. Lobby is nice and bright and clean. Great restaurant overlooking the lake. Really a nice place for breakfast with excellent hash and eggs. Fun little gift shop. Room had a balcony with a view of the...

I travel to Dallas about 4 times a year for work. This is a great hotel to stay at. Location is perfect, close to everything I need to get to and the staff is wonderful. They have a car service on site for trips to the airport which is extremely helpful.

I was looking forward to staying at this hotel. Location on the map looked great! That was the best part. It's all downhill from there. Location --- in front of a "lake" with relaxing views. We had a room with a lake view and balcony. In the balcony there were 2 cheap looking chairs...not very inviting. We checked in early....

You can definitely tell this is more of a weekday business hotel. The location is central to a number of business locations in the Irving/Las Colinas area. However, there was hardly anyone there. But the staff was still very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Not as updated as most Marriott's I've visited lately. However, suitable for what...
