We had a great 3 day weekend stay at the Antlers. My family of 4 stayed in the Plum Suite; we made a 5 hour drive to get there and were lucky enough to check in an hour and a half early. That was a huge blessing since we were travelling with a cranky, tired 19 month old who absolutely...

We celebrated our anniversary with a night at The Antler's Inn. We stayed in the yellow caboose. The caboose was very nice. Not much wi-fi in the caboose, but plenty outside. Small fridge and 2 burner stove. Bathroom is small ( maybe not good if you are claustrophobic) but has what one needs. Once you find the switches there is...

This is an old train station hotel, now on the shores of manmade LBJ Lake. Beautiful rooms and grounds, in a relatively quiet corner of Kingsland Texas. Helpful staff. It has access to the water, but don't necessary expect peaceful reverie at the lake: it's full of oversized cottages, gigantic boats and jet skis. Resto adjacent.

The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable. We had no problems with arriving late and getting to our cabin. The cabin was very comfortable, with full kitchen, living room, washer dryer it cetera. We could have stayed longer and been very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in the yellow caboose this weekend. The resort is easy enough to find (we came from Houston) and we checked in shortly after 3pm and the caboose was ready. The air conditioning was on too which was great. The cabooses are quite close together (as they are on a track) and each one has a...

The Antlers is a historical inn located in Kingsland, Texas. What you may not know, is it is also an old train depot! On the grounds, you can stay in the old train depot, a McKinley Coach train car, or one of three cabooses! We took our 2 year old and 4.5 year old boys here for a getaway and...

Quiet and beautiful lake, great place to relax. The service at the hotel and restaurant and coffee shop was hospitable, friendly, and felt like family! I loved our little cabin by the lake, however after sharing experiences with other families may venture into trying the railcar caboose sometime in the future. We enjoyed the little fox that came and laid...

My wife's family lives there in Kingsland and we decided to stay in a caboose for the weekend. Our three year old LOVES trains and it made sense to stay. The whole place is absolutely beautiful and cozy. The caboose is small but exciting at the same time. We stayed in the yellow caboose and the queen bed was slightly...

I surprised my wife with this hotel for our anniversary and she loved it! This resort hotel, dating back to the 1900's was very charming. Both desk clerks were so wonderful and went out of their way to please us. The coffee room was much enjoyed. The cafe meals and the staff across the street were all outstanding!. Thank you!

This is a Beautiful Victorian Hotel! The staff and owners have been exceptionally kind and efficient. My wife and I stayed in the Victorian Room with wonderful tall ceilings, beautiful period decor, lovely wood floors and decorative wood trim.
