If you want a basic, no frills hotel on the US side of the Border, this is a really good option. Don't expect breakfast or a pool, but expect a clean room in a convenient location. Many people push through to the US side before putting up for the night and this is one of the spots they'll stay in...

I normally do not stay in anything less than a 3 star hotel. We needed somewhere to stay last minute and the $50 per room is the cheapest in town. I had already programmed my head in order to not allow room quality to appall me due to the low price we paid, and have to say I was reasonably...

I was looking for a cheap pl poolace to stay and founds this hotel. The rooms may not be top quality but for the price I paid I was satisfied. Ecxellent option if you're on q budget. I saw reviews complaining about the staff but I was treated very well by them

Was traveling to Mexico. Arrived in Laredo late afternoon. Was looking for a reasonable priced hotel with secure parking. Pick the Gateway because there is activity in the parking lot all night with the truckers going in and out of the lot. Rooms could be cleaner etc etc but picked hotel for secured parking.

We've been travelled a lot both in & out of USA & I should say this is the WORSE PLACE we've been through. We were checking the room for accommodation to see if the room is nice. With the front clerk's approval, she allowed us to go up to 5th floor and the security directed us to the farthest room...

The building and furniture are very old and dirty, we felt unsafe on the parking lot and also inside the building, prices are not the best (around 75 per night) definetly you can get something better elsewhere

Reading the previous reviews of Gateway Inn I thought I would be fine. I was really trying to say some money on a long trip. Let me preface this by saying I have bunked is some sad, slimy places during my years in the military but this was just beyond..... Smoke smell everywhere, it just wasn't as bad in my...

...where you can stay overnight in Laredo, not a great one but pleasant. The price they shown here might not be the right one. It used to be $35/night tax incl. few years ago, but now the average is 40-45/night incl tax. Good location too, close to Mall del Norte, Sams Club and many other stores.

I always stay here because the top floor lets you see for miles, plus it's cheap and so am I. This is a no frills place- no AC in the halls, no breakfast or coffee, no alarm clock, no luxuries at all. The building and furnishings are in slightly rough condition, but my room and linens are very clean. The...

A friend and I had traveled from San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. I had several official things to do on both sides of the border. I also needed to stock up on several things at the local stores, Wal-Mart, HEB, etc. My friend also loaded up on several things she need back in SMA, too. The Gateway was in...
