Very run down, poorly maintained hotel. I've stayed at quite a few Super 8's. Most have been acceptable to pretty decent, but this one was certainly not. Lady at the front desk could barely speak English or communicate. No breakfast as advertised "due to Covid."

The lady at the check-in was not friendly at all (I wonder if she EVER, EVER smiles). She didn't understand English well and apparently could not read it at all. The toilet wouldn't flush; my husband removed the tank lid and pulled the chain. We had to do this everytime. The chain was rusted and would not hook properly. We reported it when we checked out but the lady didn't seem to understand. The website says pets allowed; no charge mentioned. At check-in, they wanted to charge for the little dog that would stay in his crate unless we walked him on a leash outside. My dog and I stayed in the car overnight. No breakfast at all; not even coffee offered. Shouldn't a discount be given when breakfast has been offered in past but isn't now? Hotel needs major renovations and a friendly staff that speaks/understands English. We will not stay here again.

I had the misfortune of staying at your hotel from March 13-14, 2021 in room number [160]. During our stay, we encountered a number of unsatisfactory service levels that I think you should know of and hopefully do something about. First, the drive up appeal was not a good site. You could not see any or what was going on when they took my credit card. Why it took so long is beyond my comprehension. When I asked the reception staff about the reason of the delay, they said it was because the previous guest checked out late! Well that is not my problem. Second, when I entered the room the beds were not properly done, and the bathrooms were still dirty. I wonder what do the housecleaning people at your hotel do exactly to prepare the room for the next guest? Do they have a checklist or do they just randomly go through stuff?

I arrived at dusk. The front door was locked and a small sign pointed to and anti-chamber off to the left. Upon entry, an odd, loud buzzer started me. I walked out with a door key in hand and a WiFi code that was illegible. My room was on the lower floor and just down from the office. That was nice. My room was clean and presentable but the furniture and fixtures were highly worn. The bed was reasonably flat and silent. The comforter had three oddly shaped stains. The bathroom door was missing multiple (2/3) screws. The bathroom sink was clean but the mirror was screwed to the wall with 7 large Philip’s head wood screws. The television was stuck on an input other than the HDMI cable box. I figured this out finally. The person in the room just behind me must have been ill. I heard muffled moaning numerous times throughout the night. The room smelled very strongly like incense and bug spray. I had a throbbing headache upon awakening. I went to check out at 6:30 and waited for about 5 minutes, rung the bell again and waited for about 5 more minutes before leaving without a receipt.

Don't stay here if you have a service animal, they will try to charge you, which is illegal!! So my service dog & I stayed in the van, my niece & her kids stayed in the room. The 2nd room cuz the first room sink had nasty backup in it! Then if you don't check out by 11am & pay for a service animal that didn't even stay in the room, they'll call the police on you!! We didn't stick around long enough to find out if they showed, but still. Money hungry foreigners!
