All of the staff (housekeeping, front desk, maintenance etc...) was very kind, helpful, pleasant, & professional. The rooms were very nice & clean. Also, always wonderful coming back to a clean room after a day out. The rest of the hotel was nice & clean, too. Our family enjoyed the pool. A great pool area, with plenty of seating, too (for those just wanting to sit & visit, while the rest were swimming). We came from out of state to visit family there. We had 3 different rooms between all of our family that came into town. We all enjoyed our stay very much, a lovely place & people. Will definitely be staying there again & highly recommend it.
We were there for an ETBU tournament. We had our son and neice. The sleeping accommodations here were perfect. We had the 2 queens and a sofa bed. We all slept well and the staff were extremely helpful. For example, while walking around outside my perfectly white tennis shoe became covered in mud. One of their maintenance workers helped and allowed us access to the water hose to wash the mud off. Also, near the Jalapeño Tree. I’d recommend the Mango Jalapeño Margarita.
I don't give to many 5 star ratings but I think this hotel deserves one. It was great!! Clean, updated, friendly staff, comfortable beds, convenient location. We had originally planned on staying in Shreveport on our drive back from Gulf Shores, AL to home in Oklahoma City. But after reading the reviews of a lot of the hotels in Shreveport I thought we better choose some place else. So glad we did!! Drove a little farther West about 15-20 mins to Marshall, TX. We had just stayed 4 nights in Gulf Shores for my grandsons world series baseball tournament and if only that hotel had been as clean as this one. Everything about this hotel was great! And the pool was AMAZING!! My grandsons had just gotten in the pool and it started to thunder and lighting so they didn't get to swim but just a few mins unfortunately. They said the water was like bath water. They also had a hot tub but boys said it was cooler than pool and I don't think it was working. Their breakfast consisted of a brown bag with water bottle, breakfast bar, muffin and apple. They also had coffee and packets of oatmeal. Do not hesitate to stay here! Wish we could have stayed longer.…
The dreaded late night arrival, especially in Covid-19 times, tends to lend me a crappy subpar room with dirty sheets etc. BUT NOT AT THIS COMFORT SUITES! GREAT AND CLEAN! What a relief after a long day on the road. This location was even taking extra precautions at check in to protect employees and customers via distancing. And yes, it sucks not to have same hot breakfast in the past, but this location loaded up the bfast bag with more stuff than many other Choice locations. I am a picky Diamond member, and this place earned a 5+ for cleanliness! Keep it up team! Thank you for keeping us road warriors safe during pandemic!
This hotel did a pretty good job dealing with the pandemic. Rooms felt clean. They took some extra precautions checking people in and had bagged take a way breakfast. My only complaint was that they didn't force people to wear mask. They had signs up, but there was someone in line waiting to check in who wasn't wearing a mask and they didn't say a thing.
