This hostel was very clean and had good food . The staff was friendly. And the view of Flores was amazing.. the owner was a reallllly nice guy. He went out of his way for us a couple of times. It's a little further away from the action but that was the nice part -- swinging in a hammock listening...

We were in Guate for 2 weeks all up and this was by far one of the best hostel we stayed at in that time. For the great price, you get phenomenal views, a tranquil setting and your own cabin with shower/toilet. Neil the owner will go out of his way to help in any way. The pool is clean!...

I had a very easy stay at this hostel. The hosts were extremely helpful regardless of the time of the day we needed them. I especially enjoyed the porch in front of our hut and the fact that the huts we somewhat secluded from each other with their own bathrooms. The hostel also has an amazing view for chilling with...

Hostel was great view over Flores, food was fine. Hostel was clean but with the location (you need to pay for a boat over from Flores and then walk up a big hill) you are somewhat stuck there! Owner very hospitable and can organize Tikal trips from there

We stayed here for 3 nights, the volunteers were extremely unhelpful and did not know any about the tours we had booked with the owner of the hostel. The pool also didnt look very clean. Would have been easier just to stay in one of the hostels in the island.

Thanks for your input. Yes we notice our volunteers were not up to par on the operation of the hostel. This problem have been rectified. Concerning the the pool. I have have mention this numerous times. The colors of the tiles are green not the water. We had guests enjoying the pool today. Thanks once again.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It does take a bit of time to get to the hostel from the island so the location isn't ideal if you want to spend a lot of time on the island but the view is incredible! The food and drinks at the bar are inexpensive but not the highest quality. The...

The owner Neil is truly just a good soul. The day that we were supposed to leave Flores, our car was broken down due to a dead battery and Neil spent the better part of his day hunting down someone with jumper cables and trying to fix it. He eventually got it all sorted so that we could be on...

This is very reasonably priced but caters for all the needs you would have in Flores. We had a bit of mix up when arriving and couldn't get over to San Miguel but this was our own fault. We ran into the infamous Scarface of Flores who told us we were getting picked up from his shop but kept us...

Host: Neil is what makes the hostel, a straight shooter, knows what guests like and is genuine. His pool wasn't working so he made up for it by making the trip to the rope trip free and told us before hand anything that wasn't on the menu etc. he is refreshingly transparent Rooms: The rooms are simple but, importantly, are...

Both the owners and the volunteers who work at the hostel were very friendly throughout my stay. Breakfast is not included, but you can choose from an a-la-carte menu for all your meals and drinks throughout the day. These meals are relatively expensive though, as the hostel is located on a peninsula that you can only access by boat. They...
