Of all our travels, this is one of our favorite hotels. Set in lush foliage, alongside a lagoon, Las Lagunas is home to 20 beautifully appointed cabañas, all with a view. Carefully arranged for maximum privacy, each room has a rain shower with a view, and a terrace with a jacuzzi. The staff is top-notch - each knew our name and did the utmost to make sure we enjoyed our stay. In particular, Elmer, Victor, Alex, and Kendel were amazing. Elmer shared a number of tips about where to go and what to do that helped us see the best of the area. Included in our room rate was a very good breakfast and a 45 minute boat ride on the lagoon where we got to feed the local spider monkeys. We were only here for two nights and definitely wish it was longer. Like the tag line says, it really is “luxury in nature.”…
We stayed at Las Lagunas for 2 nights - wish it was longer! A truly beautiful hotel with fantastic rooms. The rooms were completely secluded, a great size and had a huge deck with a private hottub overlooking the river The food was lovely although perhaps a little pricey - we’d maybe have liked a few more simple options. We discovered on the last day you can have your meals delivered for free to your deck which was a lovely touch (just wish we’d been told on check in). Overall a lovely stay that that we’d absolutely recommend to anyone in the area
Excellent service from all the personal!! Very helpful and kind! A great experience, wonderful views and in the middle of the Mayan world! Excellent food and beautiful suites located in the waterfront of Laguna Quexil! Beautiful conservancy for the spider monkey and many wild species! Highly recommend
The hotel was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! Friendly staff, luxurious accommodations , delicious food ! Isaiahs and Elmer were fantastic and remembered our names and took every effort to ensure our stay was amazing! 5 Stars!!
On our way to the Mayan ruins of Tikal, we stayed overnight in Flores and our Guatemalan agent booked us a room at "Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel". You cannot imagine how much I regret, up to now, having stayed "only" one night ... This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! It is beautiful, quiet, cozy, scenic and located on the awesome shores of "Lago Peten Itza". It means silence, peace and self-introspection. So, I strongly recommend you, on your way to Tikal's ruins, to stay at least two nights at this hotel. I bet you won't want to leave your room. One last remark, "Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel" means romance ... Enjoy!
The hotel is so magical on the Lake. The bungalows were charming spacious and private! The grounds were fantastic to hike, canoe and the spider monkey tour was a highlight! The staff was incredible and so warm and gracious! Gracias Las Lagunas!!!
I spent four amazing days at this beautiful hotel. Infrastructure: amazing Rooms are spacious, cozy and pretty isolated. Staff: I have to admit that will always come back for the spectacular group of people working at this place. I have no words to thank Alex, Victor (Restaurant) and Carlos (Front desk) for the unforgettable support and kindness. Alex helped me planning a beautiful B-Day surprise for my father-in-law, and Victor transformed my dinner into a delightful experience. We took the Monkey tour and the ATV tour around the private Natural Reserve. Do not hesitate about those attractions because they are really worth to see. Food, snacks, amenities, and views will help you find peace and relaxation in a place where God has just created a masterpiece: Flores; Petén. For a family or business trip, Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel stands out as the best option in the region. The relationship Price-Benefit is insuperable. This is my 6th time in Guatemala, but my first time in Petén, and I am sure that I will always come back to experience the most spectacular customer service and to sense the most unbelievable aromas and traditions.…
fantastic experience food was outstanding rooms perfect suggest you stay 4 nights 3 days, the town of Floresis interesting , go to animal rescue , also need one day for activities at the hotel (monkey island and animals, boats ) Wait staff was very attentive and friendly Best per Columbian artifact Museum I have every seen anywhere in Central and South America at the hotel - don't miss it Tikai was worth the trip
This hotel is just amazing, beautiful bungalows, pool, great pool, monkey tour. We had an amazing experience. Thanks to the employees who were all very helpful (Grecia, Carlos, Isaias, Jaime). Special thanks to Elmer who exceeded our service expectations. Hopefully we can come back soon.
This is the best place we stayed on our trip through Guatemala. Little villas, all facing a small lagune with tasteful furniture good aircondition and a marvelous view. It is worth investing in a master suite as after the excursions you can relax in a jacuzzi with view on the lake. The restaurant was great, the service top. Don‘t miss the trip to the monkey island (1h) and the museum.
