My husband and I stayed here just one night , as he had a meeting close by . The room was not updated at all . We arrived late , and had no choice but to eat in the hotel restaurant . We feel as if we were raped by the waiter . We ordered one plate of ham , and one plate of cheese , and some bread . Our bill was 54 euro ! Our fault for not ordering the four course meal at 27 euro ! We asked for late check out as my husbands meeting would be finished at 1:30 ish . NO late check out . After checking out at 12 I went to the bar and ordered 2 coffees while waiting for my husband to return . 20 euros . Again a complete rip off . This is not our first or last trip to Madrid . But I promise it is our last to this hotel . Yuck yuck yuck !
Very convenient location, next to plaza de espana .great room with all the facilities.the breakfast is very rich and tasty also gluten free products.the service is impeccable especially from Lora at the front desk.she is very helpful with the tours, Internet and all you need.the restaurant named uno serves fabulous food and wine and a very good service.a great experience.
The food at the hotel is fantastic and service good. Breakfast is plentiful and They even have a proper coffee machine!! The rooms are very cosy and very clean. It was the second time I stayed and I liked it even more this time. The only downside is that this time I was given a room above what I think is a club and I could hear the music up on the 1st floor. This for me wasn't a problem because I can sleep with ' 'OK' noise but I'm just mentioning this so that you make sure you ask a room in the quiet area which I'm sure they'll give you as everybody at the reception is very nice.
We had a cat show in this hotel, in its big meeting rooms. The guest rooms are Basic but clean, the bed is good and the staff friendly. Breakfast better than in many other hotels. And the food in the restaurant really good!
when i ask for a double bed i want a double bed not 2 singles pushed together. the floor wasn't clean, the minibar was empty, the floor was broken and so were parts of the walls, the wall had 3 nails sticking out, the toilet didn't flush properly..... one morning i had the do not disturb sign on the door and i was called at about 1030 by reception asking if i wanted my room cleaned as the do not disturb sign was on the door
I slept a night at this hotel in Mostoles, a sattelite city with around 230,000 citizens just 20km away from the center of Madrid. The facility was equally visited by the present King and Queen of Spain before being enthroned. The room was not at all spacious, but still modern and well cared for, with a potent air-conditioning system. Breakfast buffet is served for an extra 7.5 euros and is quite pleasant.
I have chosen this hotel for a business trip due to the fact that it was in walking distance from the company where i had to go. The rooms aren't very stylish, but they are very clean and have all you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is very helpful. I also has dinner in the restaurant. They have a 3-course menu for 15€ (only on the spanish menu, so you have to guess a little when you don't speek spanish). The food was good. I haven't used the pool/spa.
We stayed here specifically for a trip to the Xanadu Commercial Centre and Snowzone indoor ski centre. It was about the closest hotel we could find and less than 10 minutes away by car. The hotel room was a nice double with excellent mattresses, very clean, and nice toiletries. The tv was good and channels could be switched to Original Version so we could watch American and English programs in their original language. Two out of three of the reception staff were more than excellent - the third needed some customer service training! The room included a very basic breakfast of coffee, juice and a pastry in the hotel bar, but it was good enough. A buffet breakfast was available at an extra cost. Parking was free which was a big bonus! There is not much around except a petrol station with a large 24 hour shop but it was convenient. Another shopping centre with Ikea, restaurants, big shops, mbowlong, movies, etc. was only a 5 minute drive away as well. Overall it was a good hotel for the money and location, but it's a motorway hotel for convenience. We would stay again if going to Xanadu, but not for any other reason. …
