A magnificent hotel on the outskirts of Getafe, next to the Cerro. Well connected, individual townhouses with a garage on the ground floor and a large room on the first floor. It has a restaurant. It is always necessary to go out by car to do anything.

Highly recommended. Made of mini houses each with its own parking lot. 24 hour reception, private parking. It is also very close to the motorway, making it ideal for stops during long journeys (like ours)

It took us awhile to find the location, which was right off the highway but hard to get to. The check in was quick and easy and the best part was that we could park our car right under our hotel room.

The room is upstairs from the carpark and although it looked large in the photos we saw posted by other reviewers the room was small for our family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids). There was one large king size bed and one bunk bed but the living area is so small it wasn't easy for us to move around. We decided to walk around the property and although its large, the place was deserted and was a bit creepy.

The pool was closed (although we booked it primarily for this). The restaurant had decent food, but was very expensive.

We ended up spending only one night at the hotel and checked out since we were supposed to stay there for 7 nights. It's far from the city and there's no where to walk to or go unless you leave the property and drive to the nearby mall.

It's not kid-friendly and so we chose to leave..

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it was among the worst I have experienced. The room was nice, but the cleaning was poor. The shower was very dirty with deposits on the walls. Old socks were in the wardrobe when we arrived. The food and the hygiene (same bowl of tomato puree for 5 days not changed) the same platter of toppings went in and out without being changed, they were just refilled. The food was cold, had to use the microwave every day. Sour milk in the coffee machine, sour toppings in the morning, tired staff.

I spent two nights in this hotel and extended my stay another two nights. They had problems with wi fi vbut they solved the problem quickly and very well. Excellent rooms, food and service. Good breakfast buffet. I would go back there. Very easy access to get to Madrid and Warner Park.

BAD EXPERIENCE!
I have never stayed in a place like this, but unfortunately we were forced to, given that Madrid was sold out due to the presence of the 2023 Fair.
The furniture in the room is pitiful, ugly and old to say the least.
The refrigerator didn't work, we turned on the air conditioning but we were forced to close it immediately because fine dust and small black insects started coming out of the vent.
The bathroom is scandalous, with a drained tub that smelled terrible and a stained plastic curtain.
The breakfast is also terrible, the only positive note was the parking space.
I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Hotel on the highway, you already know that when you book.
Good things, good cooking and cleanliness.
Bad things, maintenance. It's dusty.
Broken blind.
Stores window broken.
Telephone without power cord.
Toilet cistern seems like the world falls when you press it.
Pillows, I think they should be a couple of cm thick. HORRIBLE.
Bunk bed structure, if you move while you sleep, you and 3 adjoining rooms wake up from the noise.
I will not repeat the truth again.

I did not receive a particularly warm welcome and no recognition for being a Melia Rewards member. I was told the pedestrian underpass from the hotel is "officially" closed, so you can only arrive by car, taxi or tour bus - no other option! Tryp Los Angeles Getafe is like a motor lodge with banks of rooms in geometric style, each having their own car port below the room. From the Getafe Centre train station the taxi was Eur10. In the Cepsa Gas station adjacent to the hotel there is a small 24hr Carrefour Express with a good and reasonably priced selection of supermarket items. There was no wifi in the room on arrival day and departure day, which I was told was the fault of the telephone company however wifi access was available in the public areas (odd!). The pool which is prominently displayed on the hotels website was unaccessible behind a locked gate with extensive fauna - it was closed along with the tennis court. My room had the dubious pleasure of both semi working air-conditioning and slowly draining plumbing.. and still the uncomfortable beds - I got 3 for a solo guest!. Cleanliness was not a strong feature of my room as dust could be found around the room and the bathroom. I did eat dinner in the Oasis Cafeteria and the service and food were good but with few customers. I had selected a rate with breakfast, which I felt was below basic! No fruit, no eggs, no choice of pastries. The "warm" items.. sausage, Spanish omelette and bacon were all there was of the "cooked" breakfast. The orange juice and milk had run out.. which caused looks of consternation when I mentioned the same. Other Tryp hotel breakfasts have been spectacular but that is not to be found at this location. Needless to say I was not asked "How was everything" when I left - I wonder why!. So I need to tick this hotel OFF my list of "places for a return visit".

This hotel was the single most terrible experience of a hotel I've ever had. The staff could not have cared less, none of them spoke English. The pool was not operational, and grass around it was not cut, and gate locked. Nowhere to relax in the sun. It's also directly on a highway and impossible to walk anywhere without a taxi....I mean, what a terrible location for a hotel! It's more like a motel.

The staff refused us room service (which was '24' hours), for what I don't know...it took us a while to order since they didn't speak English, and then they told us they don't do room service to our room. Why bother? The room was badly lit, missing kettle, tea, coffee.....no drinks in the fridge even though they had a price menu beside it. Beds were terrible. Just one pillow.

The food was appalling, I can't stress this enough. Overpriced and tasteless. Breakfast (which we paid for) was terrible. First night we only got supplied tiny pastries and Coco Pops with coffee ($8.50). No toast or anything else. Second was better with some Iberian meats and toast. Third night we got no breakfast, at all. They simply didn't serve it and asked us to pay for something off a menu (as well as paying for inclusive breakfast). When we ordered breakfast they said they could not do it, so we ate at the petrol station across the road.

When we had to leave (thank God) I tried to explain to the receptionist how terrible this hotel was, and how unsatisfied I was with it. I demanded a discount, due to the complete lack of being hotel it was. After a long convincing, we only got the inclusive breakfast taken off our last day there ($8.50).

Please, go anywhere but this place. They simply don't deserve the money they ask for.

Desde el hotel hay como 3 km a una estación de cercanías y metro con un gran parking gratuito. Es una opción muy buena, llegas al centro de Madrid en 20 minutos.
