The room is upstairs from the carpark and although it looked large in the photos we saw posted by other reviewers the room was small for our family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids). There was one large king size bed and one bunk bed but the living area is so small it wasn't easy for us to move around. We decided to walk around the property and although its large, the place was deserted and was a bit creepy.
The pool was closed (although we booked it primarily for this). The restaurant had decent food, but was very expensive.
We ended up spending only one night at the hotel and checked out since we were supposed to stay there for 7 nights. It's far from the city and there's no where to walk to or go unless you leave the property and drive to the nearby mall.
It's not kid-friendly and so we chose to leave..
I have never stayed in a place like this, but unfortunately we were forced to, given that Madrid was sold out due to the presence of the 2023 Fair.
The furniture in the room is pitiful, ugly and old to say the least.
The refrigerator didn't work, we turned on the air conditioning but we were forced to close it immediately because fine dust and small black insects started coming out of the vent.
The bathroom is scandalous, with a drained tub that smelled terrible and a stained plastic curtain.
The breakfast is also terrible, the only positive note was the parking space.
I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Good things, good cooking and cleanliness.
Bad things, maintenance. It's dusty.
Broken blind.
Stores window broken.
Telephone without power cord.
Toilet cistern seems like the world falls when you press it.
Pillows, I think they should be a couple of cm thick. HORRIBLE.
Bunk bed structure, if you move while you sleep, you and 3 adjoining rooms wake up from the noise.
I will not repeat the truth again.
The staff refused us room service (which was '24' hours), for what I don't know...it took us a while to order since they didn't speak English, and then they told us they don't do room service to our room. Why bother? The room was badly lit, missing kettle, tea, coffee.....no drinks in the fridge even though they had a price menu beside it. Beds were terrible. Just one pillow.
The food was appalling, I can't stress this enough. Overpriced and tasteless. Breakfast (which we paid for) was terrible. First night we only got supplied tiny pastries and Coco Pops with coffee ($8.50). No toast or anything else. Second was better with some Iberian meats and toast. Third night we got no breakfast, at all. They simply didn't serve it and asked us to pay for something off a menu (as well as paying for inclusive breakfast). When we ordered breakfast they said they could not do it, so we ate at the petrol station across the road.
When we had to leave (thank God) I tried to explain to the receptionist how terrible this hotel was, and how unsatisfied I was with it. I demanded a discount, due to the complete lack of being hotel it was. After a long convincing, we only got the inclusive breakfast taken off our last day there ($8.50).
Please, go anywhere but this place. They simply don't deserve the money they ask for.
Treated like crap. Fifthy premises, completely overgrown grounds, rude staff, awful food. Do NOT stay here.
