The Exe Getafe is located near the amusement parks Warner Bros and Faunia, with an easy access to the centre of Madrid. The hotel has 112 fully equipped rooms with room service and excellent Wi-Fi Internet, among other benefits. The hotel is a brisk 15 - 20 minutes walk from Getafe train station located in a quiet location. There are restaurants/bars/coffee shops less than 10 minutes walk away from the hotel, however, the bulk of restaurants/bars/coffee shops are located towards the centre which is about 15 minutes walk away. Whilst the onsite hotel bar/restaurant was closed, this was not an issue for me since there were other options near close vicinity to the hotel.
My room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Pleasent hotel, not really 4 star. The hotel was in an ideal location in Getafe, was clean and staff friendly. Personally would say not 4 star. Little things like no tea or coffee in the room and the lights are on an eco setting; but do not stay on long enough when you open room door, so you are left in darknesswhen trying to put your key in the activation slot. Also slow response when leaving your room. Selection at breakfast good example of continental selection although the scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage that were on offer in the buffet were cold, (both days).

I stayed 6 nights in this nice hotel Here is my review in points - location in a quiet area in Getage 30 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from Gran via Check in in less than 3 minutes, I booked a suite, and it was a great choice,king size bed, a mini bar, a sofa , 2 TVs, and a nice toilet. Breakfast with varieties and good quality. 3 shopping malls 10 minutes away from the hotel. There are no restaurants or bars in the hotel, but around the hotel, you can find a lot of varieties. Big thank you to the front desk lady she was so helpful and speaks English very well.also, big thank you to the restaurant team during the breakfast as they were serving many people many cultures with a big smile

Overall the hotel was very clean and my room was modern and like the rest of the hotel it was also clean. The breakfast was passable
That's about it though
The WiFi got very slow during the week - there was no gym - the bar (and I suspect the restaurant too) was closed most of the time - ie except for 7-11 Monday-Thursday - I can understand not having a restaurant out of peak times but it sounds like the management was too tight even to employ someone to run the bar
One very annoying thing was that I stayed here because Expedia said the hotel was relatively close to IFEMA - I was here for a conference - in fact it was about 20miles rather than the stated 7 - I suspect this was an Expedia thing rather than anything to do with the hotel - but the result was an hour drive in the morning and 80 euros a day in Uber fares - so if you are staying here for an IFEMA conference then think again

We found this hotel while looking for reasonably priced accommodation near the Caja Magica where the annual "Madrid Mutua" tennis tournament is held. The rooms were very comfortable with a fine breakfast to boot.! The hotel is a comfortable 20 minute walk from the RENFE train terminal. This train brings you to anywhere in Madrid quite quickly. To arrive close to the tennis tournament venue requires one change after 10 minutes,( onto the subway system) at a station where both lines meet, but this is no problem. Travel time about 35 minutes,to the appropriate subway destination, and a ten minute walk to the "Caja Magica"if you plan your journey correctly.

The hotel is very good.Our stay was comfortable.The rooms are clean,very good and big enough. We stayed for two days.The breakfast was very good with variety.The only noticeable thing is the size of the restaurant is small and the no. tables are less compared to the size of the hotel and the no.of rooms.The hotel staff was good and helpful.No English newspapers were available.

It is near the airport. It is unique & a special place nearby leisure activities like Warner Bros,Faunia fun fairs etc.Rooms are super & also adapted for handicapped. They have free Wi Fi. They staff are very good. They have Al Punto Bar restaurant, Bar Cafeteria . The breakfast buffet has to be improved.

This was my first time in Madrid. I was looking at hotels in downtown and all of them were in the $80 dollar range for the cheapest and some of them seemed not good, so then I found this one and only paid $65 dollars a night and I took a risk because it was in Getafe not in Madrid. Well it was well worth it. It's easy to get to downtown Madrid from here. Just take the CercanÃas Renfe from Getafe Centro and you will be in downtown Madrid in 20 minutes. They have the regular metro and the renfe. The metro from Getafe will take you about an hour to downtown Madrid, but the renfe will save you 40 minutes and it only cost 2 Euros. Hesperia Getafe hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance to Getafe Centro, but it did not bother me. The city is clean and very safe to walk in no matter the hour, because I also did walk around at midnight walking back to hotel from downtown Madrid. The weather was great, so it was nice to walk around. The hotel on the outside just looks plain, but once you get to the room I thought it was nice. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean same as the bathroom. The room was big as well. I enjoyed staying here and I liked the city as well. There's not much going in the city of Getafe not many stores at all, but after all that did not matter to me because I came to visit Madrid and not Getafe.

We have used this hotel as ‘stopovers’ on our way driving to Costa Del Sol from Santander and vice-versa over the past few years. It’s extremely clean, comfortable and functional (for our needs - bed, shower and breakfast) and if you don’t want to eat in the hotel which is basic but again good value there’s a Chinese buffet style restaurant and McDonalds within a very short walking distance. Car parking is excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.
Will be booking again for our next trip.

The management in this hotel is great. They do what it takes run a smooth operation. Clean hotel, air conditioning works great, staff is friendly and professional. This location is much better than others I've visited before. Fresh fruit available daily in the lobby. Did not like how you must book spa or jacuzzi time by appointment, pool and amenities should be available longer hours of operation too like Las Vegas.
