The staff is great and the hotel is very comfortable. This is a great place to stay If you need to be near Madrid, but don't want to stay in the city. I've been in many expensive and inexpensive hotels and I've never felt more comfortable.
Arrived mid afternoon after a 35 minute taxi ride and was checked in by the lovely Paloma. The hotel is situated on the edge of an industrial park just off the motorway and the station is a 15 minute walk away so access to the city is easy. Across the road and over the bridge is a HUGE shopping mall with loads of shops and a very very nice supermarket which is handy. The hotel itself is corporate and will be the same as any Holiday Inn across the world. There are vending machines and an ice machine in the lobby which is handy. They have a very small bar in this hotel yet the lobby area is huge. Our room was clean and the beds very very comfy. It would have been nice to be able to open the window properly but I suspect that's a health and safety thing. The local law inforcement pop in for coffee which is nice to see. There is one downside to this hotel and its only a minor critique and that is the breakfast. Its continental which is fine but one day we went down and the orange juice had run out and although staff came out from the kitchen a couple of times no one bothered to refill the chiller. The meat selection was disappointing, sandwich ham REALLY and some real butter not butter tasting packs would have been nice. There were also empty baskets where I assume there had been croissants or pain au chocolat that hadn't been restocked. There was only a small bowl of fresh fruit. Where the kids had been helping themselves to cereal from the little dispensers where they had liked pushing the button over and over again there was cereal all over the surface and that remained there,no attempt was made to clear it up. Lots of the guests were leaving their plates and cups etc on the tables so new guests coming in were moving them to other tables to make room. The general public are stupid, when they go on holiday they have a tendency to think well I paid to come here so why should I its someone elses job so in situations like that(hotel restaurant etc) there should be signage directing them to clean up after all there were tray racks visible. The staff were hesitant in clearing up which resulted in a couple of families having their breakfast at the end of the restaurant standing up as they didnt have a clear table to sit at nd they weren't about to clear the table..Apart from that niggle for what we paid everything was good. I would stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone and everyone going to Madrid.…
This property is out of the city limits, & this in in midst of industrial area, surrounded by factories. This out of the way place. Rooms are just ok. If you are with a family, then this hotel is ok to spend time, if you are a solo traveler then this is not the hotel to stay at.t is a clean and neat hotel with a friendly staff that speaks pretty good English, but they dont have much option for vegetarians.
This a very good 3 star hotel, very clean and modern, service was excellent, the rooms where cleaned everyday and had good facilities. Breakfast had a good continental selection of breads, pastries, cold meats, cheese etc, We had dinner which was also very good. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way but the train service to leganes and Madrid are excellent and very cheap and there is are large shopping centre about 5 minutes walk away. I would recommend this hotel.
Spent one more night recently , still a good place if you have business in the area , this time I found some issues in the bathroom (dirty floor and wall , worked out towel) but can still confirm overall cleanliness and comfort , I just hope this is a random glitch , will confirm after my next stay ...
I stay at this hotel during all of my business trips to Madrid. It is a clean and neat hotel with a friendly staff that speaks pretty good English. They serve a very Spanish breakfast and a nice variety for dinner. There are also several restaurants within 1.5km. They have secure parking. If you are not traveling with family I would recommend only staying Sunday thru Friday, because Friday and Saturday nights this hotel is popular with families that are going to the Warner Brothers Park that is nearby.
Its a neat clean hotel. Good if want to stay near to airport .Has a big Mall near bye .But in the hotel if you are a vegetarian you need to be prepared for food and even breakfast you need to be concern about
We enjoyed a 2 night stay. The hotel was clean, good size rooms, and comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They had the railroad map available and explained the routes. The hotel is in an industrial area so there are no restaurants or stores nearby. We ate dinner both nights and had a good light meal. Plenty of parking at the hotel. You can walk to the railway but we drove however we found the parking was an issue, the weather may have contributed. Overall a pleasant stay.
It seems we got low cost room although we paid the price for regular standard room. There was no normal window looking outside but directly to the concrete block of the hotel itself. In the bathroom you could see that the water was leaking from the floor above, the temperature water in the bathtube suddenly changed from hot to cold and opposite, receptionists not very kind, holes in bed sheets, very limited breakfast without eggs etc. Good Wi-fi, possibility of parking on the street without extra costs and not far from high way
Hotel is on an industrial Estate. We stayed on a Friday night and chose to use the ample car park rather than on the road and first impressions on walking in with all four of us hot and tired was yes looks good. Was busy so slow check in and this was the theme for the rest of the evening, people checking in, wanting food with minimal staff. However can't fault staff, food and the room. Our room was made up already for us 4. Breakfast again good, typical HIX but no complaints. Don't plan to go for a wander about if you stay here though not much to see. Overall good place for a out of city stop over
