I love Hotel Avenida for many reasons.One of those reasons is the location (city center of Leganes) , the cleannes of rooms, the staff members and the owner are very kind and awesome.Its a 3 star hotel with very good and standard rooms mostly with balcony .Train station only 200m away .Well recommended place

This hotel is at the periphery of Madrid, well located for business at the local university campus, but also well connected to Madrid downtown by Cercanias trains (approx 30 Minutes). The hotel is simple but comfortable, the price is extremely low for the Madrid area. The rooms to the street front are a bit noisy, but this is probably unavoidable at this location. There is a good supermarket just a few steps away and a cerveceria just on the other side of the street.

We booked for a Friday - Monday weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a smiling, friendly lady on reception and the hotel manager who proceeded, without fuss, to show us to our room. Room 002 was large, clean, with a nice bathroom, air con & a balcony. Unfortunately, the downside was that, on Friday night in particular, it was pretty noisy. The bar below, as with the many others in the adjacent "Fountain Square", stay open well into the early hours and, with our balcony door open, sleep was difficult. Add to this the refuse lorries emptying bins in the early hours & the noise can't be avoided. This alone, prevents me giving it a higher rating. In every other respect this hotel was good. It's near the station, has plenty of accommodating bars & restaurants nearby and was handy for the festival we were there for. It is also very reasonably priced and the same happy, helpful receptionist was on duty each day from 4pm till midnight. Overall, I liked the place and would have no hesitation returning.…

I stayed for 7 nights. The room was adequate and clean, and unlike other reviewers not too noisy outside. The main noise was the aircon, which is uncontrollable, noisy, and only works intermittently. Some nights it was freezing and loud, while some evenings it was off and extremely hot. Breakfast is very basic, with only toast and prepackaged dry pastries on offer, and is from 6.30am to 8am, so I only had breakfast there once. Internet is fast and works well. It also doesn't have any annoying registration page that needs refreshing, so once set up devices connect automatically: which is how WiFi should be. I'd stay again if it was as cheep as it was this time. Definitely a good budget option.

Stayed for 3 nights, very basic Hotel with basic facility , nothing extravagant and reasonable price. breakfast a bit disappointing as there was no much choice, no fresh fruit or yogurt. Rooms were quite small but in my case enough as I used the hotel just to sleep at night as I was out in town most of the time . Staff helpful but could do a bit more with a smile and a bit of interaction with guests. recommend if you travel on a budget.

Stayed there for one week while searching for an apartment, I selected it as it was close to Leganes Metro station and also close to the university. However, it was not good experience and will not recommend it for more than 2 days stay. Tip: the rooms have central ventilation and as some guests smoke in their rooms it become unbearable to breath in the room while sleeping

Good value and convenient for the town centre. However we were in a road facing room and the nightclub opposite closed at 7 am so if you are a light sleeper don't bother. Heating and a/c not controllable. Given all this we would use this hotel again
