I stayed with a friend in late February and found the hotel clean, very reasonably priced and close enough to transport. There is a tram stop (La Bellena) right in back of the hotel that takes you around Parla and it's a quick 10 minute walk to the Renfe train station in Parla where you can catch a train into central Madrid in about 30 minutes. I was also able to get a train from Parla to Nuevos Ministerios where I was able to transfer to the metro which in 5 stops took me to terminal 1 at Barajas airport for under 10 Euros and in about an hour or so. The real highlight for me was Ludovica the hotel clerk who was so gracious and kind and who printed out maps for us and made our stay enjoyable. She speaks English, Italian and Spanish and is an example of what courtesy and service at a hotel should be.

Why is this a hoax? Because the hotel has named itself as "Madrid".. although it is 25 kms away from the city. So unwary travelers book this hotel, only realize later that they are far far away from civilization. Enter a dimly lit lobby.. "checkin" by an unsmiling staff and take (drag) your luggage up two flights of dark stairs, because the lift is too small to accommodate you and your luggage. Waves of guests (in group tours) swarm the premises. What the heck. The automated lights in the premises come on and off at random. Mostly it is pretty dark.
Wi-Fi is only available in the cramped lobby which can at best accommodate 10 people. Rooms are OK, but without net connectivity in this day and age!! Breakfast ranges from average to good. Kitchen staff are polite and efficient although they appear to be tired and overworked. Housekeeping is OK.
Definitely not recommended.
