Hello - Is there any update on when the Sulis will be open? We are travelling next year and hoping to stay as the location is great. Or can you tell me when the website (a website) will be done. Thank you in advance

The Green Garden is a wonderful hotel with lots of character in it's design. The staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging tours and activities. Each morning I had the Indonesian breakfast which was unforgettably delicious. The room was very large and spacious with a balcony and with a very nice shower. I swam in the pool several times...

Many thanks for your positive review on your stay a few years ago (although it should have not appeared in Tripadvisor for 2015). The small resort has no longer been in operations since January 2014; yes, it was closed over 2 years ago for a major renovation....! This was also reported by a number of Tripadvisor users before. The hotel...

Your positive review was noted with many thanks. I believe your stay was in Sept 2013 (instead of Sept 2014) because the hotel ceased operations in the first week of January 2014 for major renovations. The renovations are still ongoing and are expected to complete in January 2017. Hopefully we can reopen in February 2017 with a new brand name:...

Just got back from Bali, we walked over to the building site to see how its going. New name for the resort is going to be Sulis & its foundation is complete. They now have most of the concrete backbone up. I bumped into one of the reception girls at one of the sister hotels & she said it would...

The sign on the site indicates that it will be opening under a different name. Renovation in Bali means that the complete site has been demolished! Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the hotel but it states that it will have a roof top bar etc which will have a splendid view over the ocean especially at sunset! Excellent...

Just found out this little Gem has closed for renovations :( We have never stayed at the Hotel but used the Spa and Restaurant regularly on our visits to Bali. The Spa was a wonderful experience every visit and the Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Satay was no doubt the best in Bali too and as I write...

We stayed here in December for a week. A great example of an older style hotel but yet has all the charm of old Bali. Unfortunately thus is closing soon to make way for a new 60 room hotel . It will be greatly missed by many . Always full , quiet and peaceful at the same time .

It was a lovely hotel (not to be confused with others of similar sounding names) and our room was on the top floor with ocean views. The room was a little dated but clean and luxurious. We paid around $80 / night. Breakfast was a little ho hum, but enough to get us through until tea time. The pool area...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On behalf of all the staff & management, we thank you to all lovely patrons of Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa who have visited the hotel and become our extended families. The hotel will soon undergo a major renovation and will be closed as from 20 September 2013. Hopefully the schedule will be on time and we will be again seeing you all in the first quarter of 2015. You will be dearly missed but will see you again with our new face - more functional, more stylish, and definitely younger and fresher.... :-) Nestled in the peaceful Tuban village of South Kuta Beach, this intimate & small boutique resort is designed for couples looking for a romantic holiday. It is located less than 50 meters away from a beautiful sandy beach with clear calm water protected by off-shore coral reefs. Attractions of Kuta are within easy strolling distance including shops and a wide range of restaurants. Comprising of 15 guest rooms, only a few steps away from its well-kept frangipani garden and relaxing swimming pool with cascading waterfall, this intimate boutique resort is probably one of the most renowned budget hotels in Bali and provides superb facilities that will impress even the most discerning travellers. The spa is arguably one of the best in Bali with exotic traditional treatments and spa cottages, performed by skillful therapists. Being popular among lovers and honeymooners, children under 18 years are unfortunately not welcome at this resort as serenity must be maintained at all times. However this will change after the renovation is fully completed - families with children will be welcome in 2015. Currently the hotel consists of 4 levels and there is no elevator to the upper guest rooms. Ocean view is available from the upper rooms. Please feel free to contact the Resident Manager for any special requests. Thanks. ... more   less
