Convenient to hotel but be careful what you pau for taxi to this place from airport.
No airport shuttle. No more than 10 Bali dollars as it is 5 min away but takes longer because of traffic congestion. Nice breakfast. Staff is lovely. Room was large and very quiet. Pool looked peaceful but I did not use as only there for 1 night.

This is a relatively new property very close to Denpasar Airport and connected by free shuttle that runs from 5.30am through around 2.00am. The rooms are modern and clean but floors are tiled meaning that there can be noise from higher floor rooms especially if children are staying. Pool area looked fantastic and the open atrium area housed a good looking restaurant (my flight left early so I didn't get to have breakfast so can't talk about the food). Good security gave a safe feel and the location for an early flight departure could not be beaten,

I just stayed one night in this airport hotel during Covid-19 pandemic due to late arrival at Bali. The hotel is about 500 meters from the airport and during this time as passengers are so rare they stop the complimentary shuttle. As the distances is walkable, then you can walk to the hotel. This hotel suitable for short transit or late night arrival as nothing special surrounding the area and it is really quiet during this time as not too much planes activity in the runway. The hotel has a reasonable size swimminh pool and a big lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the breakfast. The lifts are activated by keycard and it is safe for guests. The rooms are big with all amenities provided. A small fridge and free tea/coffee kettle. The bathroom is huge with rain shower. The bed is huge and comfortable. During the pandemic era, all rooms which have been cleaned are sealed with a sticker which only can be torn while you check in and open the room door. It is s kind of guarantee that the rooms are secure with health procedure. Overall, I enjoy the short stay and recommend those who prefer a short transit stay. I can’t review the breakfast as I don’t book the room with meals.

It's a few minutes' drive from the airport, and there's a shuttle service included in the room rate.

Which means it's uneconomic to say longer than overnight - you end up paying for a daily airport shuttle you don't use.

Indeed, the location and price make it a crazy choice for a longer stay.
Unless you enjoy being on a busy main road, miles from anywhere of interest,

Rooms are clean but noisy.

The new management is no longer encouraging tour groups, which is a good thing for independent travellers. But it's an odd strategy for a large hotel in such a poor location - so we'll see how that goes.

Hilton Honors recognition is weak. Arriving at 4:30 pm, we still had to wait 30 minutes for a room. Beyond 2 small bottles of water, and the ability to trade points for a so-so breakfast, there's nothing. They keep suites empty rather than allocate them to "elites" (another strategy of the new management, and one which is losing regulars).

Apart from the suites, all rooms are the same: perfectly fine, clean with good bathrooms, but noisy. The more expensive "deluxe" versions simply overlook the pool, something of a mixed blessing.

The pool itself is a delight for those who love pools.

If you want cheaper, close to the airport with shuttle, there are plenty of options. Harris is fine.

For an international brand close by, but with a beach next door, you've got the Holiday Inn Express (free breakfast for all) usually just a little less expensive.

d'sHilton Garden Inn is located 2km from Bali Airport, not in proximityof every thing. In fact, there is not even an ATM or a convenience store inside the hotel or nearby. The hotel is managed by Chinese and its most guests are unfortunately loud and misbehaving Chinese groups, shouting in front of your door and inside their rooms at all times.

The only reason to stay here near to the airport is to catch the next day's flight.
Nothing else speaks for this hotel.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I found no any appreciation in this place.

My standard room was, in clear violation of the HH rules, not upgraded, stating "sorry sir we don't upgrade rooms".

No welcome drink for Hilton members too.

After insisted 2 times on he phone, they finally brought 4 pieces of small fruits to my room.

The room poor as poor can be. My room, the 2057, was small and unwelcoming.

Cheap furniture with no interior design.

The pillows are huge, heavy and rock hard, of course no choice of pillows given.

No mini bar, also no basics like shaver or toothbrush, no bathroom scale.

The aircon was freezing cold blowing all the time despite totally turned off.

The bathroom comes of course with no bath tub and is in size and design just as poor as the rest of the room.

The wifi connection, also the fast one for HH members was horribly slow, just couldn't use it.

At the front desk there is a small room with some minibar snacks you can buy.

There is a swimming pool, but unlike in other hotels, nothing to look at or feel nice.

All in all in every aspect you will find the greedy Chinese style, ignoring rules and giving as little as possible...

Chinese customers book the rooms for much less money. But if you are a Hilton Honors member and book through this expensive channel, you don't get any of the benefits your membership at higher price comes with!

This is at maximum a huge 2 star hotel with no amenities whatsoever.

The rooms cost same like Four Points Kuta or Four Points Seminyak, but there are just light years between them !!

Sad that they can get away with this low performance !!

“Thank goodness we stayed only one night in room no 2073”.Checkin was smooth the room smelt of mould & it looks so dead it was just one night never again, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort before this and would give 10/10 was amazing. We booked the Hilton before flying out of Bali the only good thing was acceptable food and close to airport .Moreover there was a huge lack of communication
Between the housekeeping team & front desk team even they did not exceed to our basic expectations though regarding the HMC room .Hugely disappointed .Breakfast was good but the coffee shop staff are only interested to talk with white colour guest when they see any Indian guest they lost their interest to interact with Indians .I believe in equality, even Indians they want the same hospitality but I did not see any very disappointed they judged me and my husband and treated us as if we had enough class or money to stay at this hotel.It was pity that we could not enjoy the last days of our trip the hotel is prejudiced Hilton Garden Inn as I said before ,you should be embarrassed for making your guest to feel this way Not recommended especially if you are a Indian guest .The way your staff treated us ,is unacceptable in human behaviour.

This was my 4th stay here but this time with my family. I had a break stay in March and everything went flawless.
Firstly I would like to thank Ms.Anggrina from reservations in arranging the airport shuttle and placing request for my connecting room. Upon arrival Mr. Andre checked me in and he was quick and professional.
Later I was met by the Asst.manager Mr. Dewa to enquire about my stay.
Lastly upon my final departure I was assisted by Ms. Bella ayu.She was very friendly and ensured we had a happy stay.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, we had difficulties with the flight to SG as many were getting cancelled. The airport shuttle captain Mr.Yuliatha (wasn't able to remember the name but similar to this) needs a high applause for helping to drive back and forth to airport few times on 13th march. Upon my departure,I wasn't able to meet and personally thank him for his kindness and assistance.

Bali is always my first choice of holiday destination and these stars mentioned above are making me choose HGI always for my stay.

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, however providing a bottle opener for the spring water would be beneficial as I had to Google out some tricks to open the bottles without the opener.
The washbasin drains weren't sealed so every morning I had to fight some cockroaches inside. However after reporting to front desk, it was rectified.

The breakfast team needs a special mention. The ladies at the restaurant host area were very welcoming and hospitable. I really loved the cheese omelette made by the chef. Moreover the chef there went a step ahead to prepare vegetarian nasi goreng for my mom which really made our day.

Housekeeping staffs were smiling at all times and greeted every time they see us in the corridor. Rooms were cleaned well and thanks for the nice towel art on bed.

Overall it was all amazing and we all really enjoyed our stays. We will be looking forward for our next stay there soon the situation gets back to normal.

The room and services were below par, certainly dont deserve the hilton tag. Rooms look very unwelcoming, menu lacks variety, water is over priced and wifi is super slow. The servers should have explained options before charging. The staff was polite, but then every one in Bali is very polite....so cant give extra credit there.

We stayed for one night since our flight was early next day. The breakfast is poor, little variety of fresh fruits. Check-In took us 20 minutes and once complaining about the long time the employee continued even slower... mentioning 3x that there is a fine for smoking in the room - I couldn’t care less as a non smoker.

Other nearby “holiday” hotels are a better option (went there for a good dinner) - I definitely will not return to this place and can’t recommend.

This Hilton Garden Inn was a soft place to land after four airports and 36 hours of travel. You can't walk there from the airport, and they don't have a shuttle. (The taxis will bargain down to about $7, and half of that goes to the airport).
My only disappointment was with the included breakfast. The staff wasn't keeping up with the crowd, and things were not labeled. Many people won't be familiar with the fruit. The cheese was unlabeled and in disarray, as were the shreds of meat.

How do I get to the hotel from international airport? Is there a shuttle bus?

No Shuttle currently. Taxi is the best option.

The shuttle isnt operating at the moment but since the airport is about a 5mins drive from the airport just take a Grab or a taxi. There is one restaurant that serves meals in the lobby.
