Good cheap overnight. A few hundred metres to cafes and restaurants This is a minimal hotel but the rception is staffed 24 hours. Underground car parking is available for small extra charge. The hotel is on the main road but the village is readily accesible. A good stop off in the Lyons area.

This is the contents of email sent to Hotel !! Now sent twice and four days on nothing !! Typical French !! No wonder we go to Italy :-) this hotel needs to be demolished! Refurbished! By who Jean Luke the Builder with no skills or eyesight! The whole write up they give is a lie with no 24 hr reception! Smoking obviously allowed anywhere, no air con, no hot water, lack of food from their photos for breakfast! Reception and hotel do not look anywhere like this in terms of being clean, smart or lifelike ! Do yourself a favour drive a wide birth of this sham of a so called Hotel We have unfortunately had to email from our stay last night which was to say the least a great disappointment! Upon arrival we were informed that the air conditioning was broken, the room windows do not open and it was 35^ outside at 7.00pm When we were informed by the two ladies on reception of the above with apologies we asked if there were any fans? There were none available! Upon entering the room it was smelling of strong cigarette smoke, and hot with no way to get fresh cool air into the room. We closed the curtains to go out but then found only one set of towels for two adults booked ! We went down stairs once ready and found we had also not had the correct car parking advice given to us from the booking We had to go back to the car and re park In the morning after a night of non sleep due to the excessive heat and no fresh air and pungent smells we had no hot water ! We had to have a quick cold shower! We got dressed ready to get breakfast too which there was not much left from pickings ! The tables were dirty and stained table cloths! We felt very sorry for the staff having to apologise and were doing all they could to assist us We trust you will make a refund to us for the full amount and a token gesture to our experience of France after 9 hours

We were for business in this Hotel, I do recommand to skip this one. The matrasses are terrible, you have to work hard to be succesfull in turning your self around in an other position. There are windows in your room, usage just for looking outside. Not to ventilate because that is not possible. The airco is making a lot of noise and just only heat and don't cool your room what can be practicle to do at warm days and nights. The breakfast isn't what you see at the website, you see more but in reality you get less. The time I was there I just met one employee who did speak english, the others just spoke french. Solving problems is not possible when your french is not that good. So this hotel isn't for us a choice anymore if we have to be in that area.

Try to stay away from this place!! I don’t know why people wouldt like to stay here. Everything in this place is sticky and dirty. Curtains stained, walls stained, table clothes at the breakfastroom stained. After 08.30 don’t count on full breakfast because everything is eaten and refill is not common in this place. The only good thing, you can walk to the city center. Iff you can find another place to stay, please do. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website, I stayed here for one week but couldn’t find any of the images they show you.
