The Chillchalet is owned by Chis and Lucy who happened to be there when we stayed. What a lovely couple and fantastic relaxed atmosphere, myself and my boyfriend felt right at home. We were riding bikes when the rest of the guests were trying to snowboard. The riding was fantastic especially the day we organised some uplifted guiding. The funicular...

We have been coming back to Chill Chalet for years and we always have such a good time. The rooms have been thoughtfully decorated, there is lots of space to chill out, the food is hearty and healthy, and the location both to get to the mountains, to get on the train, to get to all the shops is perfect....

We had a great time at Chillchalet. Conveniently located near the train station and close to Les Arcs for snowboarding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were great and they answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here twice and loved it each time. The first time I came, a few years ago, I was with friends. This time I came back alone for a cheeky four days in the snow. With the place full on my first day/night I had lots of company - both on the slopes and at dinner. For the next...

We were looking for a short break with our sons. We don't ski but the boys do, so we needed somewhere with enough 'apres ski' for mum and dad. The trip was very last minute but was easy to organise as Chris gave us plenty of information on local ski hire, lessons etc and even put up with our dog....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chill Chalet is an independent, family run chalet that offers a great location to explore some of the best mountains in the world. Our excellent hearty food, comfortable accommodation and relaxed atmosphere make us a great option for your adventure in the French alps.We took over Chill Chalet in August and have made some noticeable change to the menu and overall guest experience. We are in the heart of Bourg St Maurice which is a lively market town at the base of the mountain situated only few minutes walk from the funicular up to Les Arcs. We own and manage the Chill Chalet ourselves, so we are always here and on hand to make sure your holiday is enjoyable and you get the great service! We also benefit from the convenience and choice of local shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and rental locations without resort inflated prices just a stone throw from the chalet. ... more   less
