This hotel is well situated for the ski lift up to Bettex and Freddy as it is only a short walk away. I'm a female pensioner and not up for long walks in ski boots carrying heavy skis, so this is just fine. Frederick, the owner, speaks good English and is vey friendly and helpful. The food is good too....

We stayed a pleasent two nights here, and had a very good time. The rooms were clean, the dinner was amazing and the jakuzzi was the best thing that could happen to us after long days of hiking. From the restaurant part of the hotel you can see the stunning view of the mountains through huge windows.

You get what you pay for! If you want basic amenities at a reasonable price, this is the place. Friendly and helpful staff. The furniture and fittings have seen better days. The outdoor area could be tidier, not a place to loiter around all day but a very convenient, well situated base for an active holiday.

Friendly welcome from first arriving to departure. Couldn't do more to make the stay perfect and all the staff worked really really hard. Evening meals were excellent and the menu was varied throughout the week. The chef really did a good job providing good quality good value food. The room was great for what I needed and clean & tidy...

Short walk to the main lift complex, maybe 400m, and 10mins walk into town. Good breakfast. Probably not their best room as late booked through agency, but it was cosy, comfortable and clean. Apparently there are better ones. Did not sample the dinner, though dining room looked a nice setting. Value for money.

So we booked this hotel for a week of skiing. As we arrived, we were welcomed by Habby, the massive Saint Bernard mascot of the hotel. As we went in, the reception got me a bit by surprise as it was a pile of files and folders, nothing of the clean desk you would expect to see at the reception...

Great location, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and friendly staff at reception. Book direct for the best price and it's certainly not expensive. We had a shower head that wouldn't stay in its holder so had to be held by hand. And breakfast, which started at 8 (a tad tight if you want to be on the lifts first...

In this relatively modest Savoyard town, between Megève and Chamonix, the Liberty is an oasis. It boasts plenty of parking, a large, well maintained jacuzzi adjacent to a swimming pool large enough for swimming laps, a well equipped game room with pool table, and an amazingly good restaurant. The breakfast buffet is sufficient but not opulent, and the dinners rise...
