Arrived to friendly reception staff who gave us the Wi-Fi code and showed us to our room in the main part of the hotel. The room was compact and spotlessly clean. Modern interior, large shower which looked out to very small private terrace. 2 single beds pushed together (double would have been better) No kettle in the room but tea /coffee free all day in the breakfast area. Small fridge in the room 2 chairs and table outside at frot door right next to the pool and sun loungers. The pool area as every other area was spotless. Breakfast had lots of choice and the chef would make omelette at your request Special shout out to a Lady called Juany ( may be spelt wrong) she was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay and always a smile on her face Very relaxing hotel and considering it was across the road from the Yumbo Centre it was very quiet 24 hrs a day Would definitely go back again

We stayed at the Hotel Nayra over the Christmas period and had a great time. We had a room in the annex which is just across the road from the main hotel and it was lovely, very quiet and relaxing. There weren't many staying at the hotel during our stay, probably due to Covid, which meant we almost felt we were the only people there! The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and we found there was ample choice, from cooked to continental and the chef was always available to cook to order, always done with a smile too! Even though the hotel is very close to the Yumbo centre we didn't hear any noise from it, even in the evening. The whole complex was very clean and we spent most of our time at the pool which was spotless with loads of sun loungers. Overall can't fault the hotel and to be honest, it made our stay and we would certainly return, highly recommended

I read the rave reviews and had high hopes but it’s pretty average. I’m not a fan of having the toilet in the bedroom itself and felt it was very stark. Breakfast was average, but not available before 8am. Staff were varied, very helpful down to seemingly having no idea what they were doing. It was quiet and mainly populated by male couples, which gave the place a certain vibe, no one wanted to chat or even say good morning. There were no “do not disturb” door hangers and I felt unsafe having a shower as the housekeeping staff were able to just walk in without warning. Loads of sun loungers, beach towels etc. Wouldn’t stay here again, it felt soulless

Stayed here November 2021 for my Birthday treat ( big 70) having travelled to many countries over the past 50 years this hotel is up there with the best, super friendly professional staff , excellent breakfast large spotless rooms cleaned daily. With fresh towels, nice pool area with lots of loungers, unlimited tea and coffee all day, close to Yuma centre if that’s your scene, 20/15 min stroll to beach, close to lots of independent restaurants, bus stop just around the corner, we had not been to Gran Canaria for 20 years, yes things have changed but it still is a great destination made better by this super hotel, one senior couple very happy with there vacation

Lovely hotel situated in the heart of PDI. It’s right at the top of the stairs of the yumbo centre which is a hive of activity with restaurants/bars/clubs of all descriptions. Yet it is quiet and calm in the hotel, it’s a real oasis of tranquility in a very busy area. The staff are very friendly and were understanding regarding an issue we had with our payment (lost wallet) and we got it sorted. Angela on reception particularly helpful and cheery. The breakfast chef was very friendly and he makes a great ‘everything omelette’ which I would recommend and he brings it over to your table. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate with various hot and cold options that changed every morning of our four day stay. The fresh orange juice is delicious. The pool area and sunloungers are spotlessly clean and the pool is nice. Would have liked it to be a little deeper though, think 135cm at its deepest. The room was nice. We had room 18 which has a little sitting terrace area at the front right beside the pool. Also an outside area at the back to hang your clothes and the tv has Netflix. Shower was good, decent pressure. It does have the most complicated door locking system I have ever seen though. It’s a combination of twisting and cards to open and shut it. You do get the hang of it though. The main negative that is stopping a five star was the bed and pillows. The bed were two small singles. The pillows were awful. Nothing to them at all, like they were filled with cotton wool. Ended up using cushions from the sofa to try and get a decent sleep. A relatively minor downside though and the positives were much more. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
