I traveled a lot. I must confess these rooms need to be cleaned and updated. My colleague did NOT want to use the tower or bathroom. Mine was dirty and someone forgot to flush when I check-in. I stayed for one night ONLY. It is my last resource.

This place is not for the faint of heart! Be sure to pack flashlights and pillows. All the basics are supplied--there were beds with clean sheets and hot running water. Bring a bouncer with you for safety. Lock your stuff! No breakfast, so pack a protein bar. Internet works sporadically, and bring an electrician to figure out how to plug everything in. It'll be an adventure! The best part is that it's significantly cheaper than anything else in the area. Just pack wisely!

Obviously managment is complacent in how disgusting their housekeeping and maintenance is. A minor example is that we refused to even shower because the tub has not been cleaned for months. I could go on forever, but not worth my breath.

If you are going to have to stay in Midland, or anywhere on the I-20 corridor, during the week, make sure you reserve ahead. There is an oil boom and there are no rooms and what there are, are sky high. This place was $170 for a motel 6 caliber room. I wouldn't shower there. I've stayed in worse, but not much. But it was the last room in town and for another 100 miles. No breakfast, train close by, dump next door, steel stairs that got icy. Never again.
