Detailed Reviews
Went here with the family, they accommodated 12 adults a two kiddos. I was really impressed with the decor and the service of the crew.
I saw crab legs and shrimp. I was not expecting to see that, and believe me I am not complaining.
While the rest of the family was doing the traditional Christmas food, I isolated myself to shrimp and crab legs. The shrimp was peeled, de-veined and fresh.
Then on to the crab. OMG!
I ate my share of crab, I just know they lost money on me alone.
I got so full, they had to get me into a wheelbarrow and set me outside.
To the crew who worked Christmas Day, thanks for a job well done.

Stayed 1 night as a respite from caregiving. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Had gift of 2 beers which was changed to drinks. We did not take advantage of them unfortunately. Bring your own water if you don't want to pay $7 for a bottle of Evian

We were blown away by this hotel in the middle of downtown Odessa, TX. I had seen the pictures online that made it look really nice, but the pictures don't even do it justice. We were upgraded to 2 king corner suites, because we had reserved 2 double queen rooms but they had overbooked that type of room the night we were there. The suites were amazing. They had a ton of room to move around with a living room that overlooked either the pool or the courtyard on the other side of the hotel. The decor was fancy, and the attention to detail was second to none. This place was way nicer than "fancy" hotels I've stayed in in big cities. The pool, bar, and restaurant were all very nice and decorated well. We didn't expect this level of fancy at a hotel in Odessa, and we were very pleasantly surprised by how amazing this place was. Staying here could be a vacation itself and now my family and I are considering doing just that in the near future. Extra perks: there is a Starbucks and a Torchy's Tacos right next to the hotel, both of which we took advantage of. I highly recommend staying here!!

So where to start I wanted to make my wife’s birthday special so I booked this very new hotel. I booked the corner king suite on the website. I get there and they tell me my room is not available. So I had to downgrade. They offered nothing for the inconvenience. I ate at the restaurant onsite and got a $89 steak medium rare and I got a well done steak. I go to check out and these people are trying to charge me the price for the original room I booked and not the downgraded room. The front desk girl Mary looked at me like I was crazy then magically remembered she was the one who gave me the bad news that I couldn’t have my room that I originally booked. Don’t waste your time at this hotel.

This hotel is by far the cleanest and nicest option in the area; however, it is simply impossible to get any sleep at… I have given them 3 tries lately and all three have turned out the same. The first two, I was given differing reasons as to why the AC was so hot (I figured them to be true as 100 degree West Texas heat does put a strain on the system).
On try #3, I have figured out the issue my self and would like to make everyone aware so that their “cost saving” technique shall be changed.
So upon arrival (@5pm-108 degrees outside) my room was a cool 67 degrees and felt splendid! Well as 10pm rolls around (89 degrees and no direct sunlight hitting the window) the room is now 70 degrees (Cool enough to fall asleep). Well here I am at 2am, the thermostat is reading 74 degrees (I’m an OilRig worker and haven’t had but 4 hours of sleep in the past 24 hours, as tired as I am, it truly is impossible to fall back asleep as I’m sweating and uncomfortable).
Moral of the story… Marriot, you are busted and accused of raising the thermostat temp while guest are sleeping in order to lower your bill. As being the only decent place to get some rest around for those of us traveling long hours to and from the oil patch, I am packing my stuff to go get a few hours of sleep in my AC truck parked in your garage… Thank you for taking my hard earned money, but please keep it and put it towards your energy bill so that future guests won’t share my same issue with you guys.

West Texas gem! The rooms are nicely appointed, the staff very attentive and the atmosphere around the hotel evokes cool, understated luxury. There is a Starbucks right on site along with a Torchy's across the street. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay.

This is the nicest decorated hotel that I have ever seen. I had a great meal in the restaurant the first night I was here. The rooms have great air conditioning and you are able to completely black out the shades which is also nice.

+1
The best and only (and brand new) full service hotel between Dallas and Tucson. I was stumped to find a gorgeous, high end hotel in the middle of an oil town.
The hotel offered free parking in a garage attached to the hotel. The M lounge on the second floor was spacious and offered evening food, 24/7 access to soda and water.
The hotel was built to high standards and had a really nice pool area.
Take 385 (Grant rd) northbound to 5th street to get to hotel.
Service from all employees was outstanding.

I went with my husband on a business trip. We chose this hotel even though it was more than twice the price of the other hotels in town. WE wanted to have nicer amenities because I was staying at the hotel all day while he was working.
To me, this hotel had less amenities than your average 2-3 star hotel.
Our King room was very small.
Our shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor
The bed was not very comfortable
They had plastic cups and a dinky coffee maker for coffee I wouldn’t dare use
No complimentary breakfast, we had to walk to a Starbucks to get coffee
No robes
The towels were very thin and small
We attempted to order room service for dinner one night, they took our order, and hour and a half later we called to see how much longer it would take. The man who answered said let me check for you, can you hold? Then click, hung up on us. If it were an accident, he would have called us back because we gave him our name and room number. We never got our order for dinner and went to bed hungry.
Overall, a big disappointment. We wanted a little luxury this weekend, and spent a lot of extra money for no better than an average standard hotel. We left a day early.
Don’t waste your money.
