It appears new owners are dressing up this shabby hotel. Clean but holes in the sheets, old hardware on doors, parking lot crumbling. Lots of road noise. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Friendly front desk. In total 2 to 3 stars.
The price was to high for the condition of the hotel. The room did not have a coffee pot or a freezer in the upper part of the mini-frig. Next time I will go to a nicer hotel and pay the higher price.
Its a very old hotel...it was clean and comfortable! The street noise left us tired! No sleep. We had the fan running to try to muffle noise but it was really no help! Front desk employee very nice! This room was the cheapest we could find at 160.00! The rates in this town are ridiculous...this property would be a 2 at best! But i liked the clean factor!
The lady at the front desk - do they get any better than her? EXCELLENT. Helpful. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Our AC did not work and she was AWESOME about getting us another room. Beds were very comfortable. Nice big room. Nice tv. Shower head was made for midgets. But good pressure.
A friend and I were recently driving across the country and needed a cheap room. This fir the bill. It is VERY close to the interstate, so easy to find as well as return to interstate. I would have to say that there have been recent renovations because the bathroom looked very good. The shower was fine. Beds were okay too. I was not impressed with a couple of cigarette burns in the blanket, but it still worked fine. There is no breakfast, but had coffee in the office. I did not check in, so I did not see that there is a glass partition between myself and the hotel worker. That may have sent up serious red flags if I had been the one to check in. We were only there for 10-12 hours and it is not "bad" - just not "good"
