We thought this was the hotel we booked. Upon arrival, I was concerned about their park charge sign. I didn’t realize IHG hotels could do this. We ended up being at the wrong HIE. The one we were booked at was SBJ parkway and it did not have the parking policy.

I booked this hotel since I needed to change my flight plans. I booked it because it looked new, was right off the highway and I can usually depend on IHG. This hotel did not disappoint. A quick wait time at the front desk, but seemed the receptionist was doing a few other duties at once. Once checked in, the room was clean and straight forward. Super comfortable pillows and bed. Super spacious bathroom and walk in shower. Location is okay. Gas station next door closed at 8pm which is weird to close that early on a Saturday. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste, the front desk quickly provided that for me. It’s about a 18 min drive to the airport. Overall, I am staying here moving forward when in the area. I forgot to capture some pictures, but trust me, stay here. You won’t regret it!…

They required $150 deposit for a weekend stay. I’ve stayed in many hotels, a lot of them being 4 and 5 star hotels, and I’ve never been charged such an excessive deposit. There was mention of a parking fee that was waived so I don’t know how much it was. Pretty ridiculous. There was hair in the showers which makes me question how thoroughly they’re cleaning these rooms between guests. Last time I’ll be staying at a IHG property.

Horrible experience. The rooms smell like sewer the hallway smells like sewer. breakfast had a sewer smell. Staff said it happens from time to time. my crazy thinking is when you smell sewage that bad there’s a problem. I got so sick after dinner due to the smell in the room. the room did not smell like that upon check-in.

We booked rooms for our meeting for the weekend. We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was awesome, the rooms were fantastic and the breakfast was hot, tasty and wonderful. There was not one negative word said about our stay. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I got a king suite and it did not disappoint! The bed was comfortable and the shower was really cool! Very clean, neat and new! The breakfast was really good and the lady that served it was very cheerful! A great thing to see so early in the am!

This new hotel is right off I-20 so if you're in Odessa, its very accessible. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and the TV in the room is huge! I loved the lighting plan which consisted of numerous switches for lighting in the entrance, above the closet, above the TV, above the beds, down at the beds, etc. You could make the room dark or very bright....and the electrical outlets under the TV, on the desk and by the bed all included USB port connections. The rooms have no carpet or even a throw rug, so the floor is cold and uninviting. I suppose this is because it's cheaper and easier for the hotel to clean but it's clearly NOT for the guests convenience or comfort. The bathrooms were spacious, but housekeeping annoyingly keeps the bathtub stopper closed (for no good reason) and there are no separate bottles of shampoo, conditioner or soap as there are common use dispensers on the shower walls for these. Of course, the dispenser is HIE's way of saving money but you never know what exactly is in those dispensers and you worry that they will be empty (they weren't). The breakfast was pretty much standard HIE fare, but the service was inconsistent. On most days, a very friendly and attentive lady (give her a raise) keep the food stocked and coffee plentiful but on one occasion, a young man ran the breakfast area and he let food and coffee run out for a long period of time. The workout room was spacious with a standard bike, recumbent bike, two ellipticals and three treadmills. There were also free weight dumbbells and some weighted balls with handles. There were two issues with the workout room: 1) the sanitary wipes were empty for two weeks despite me informing the front desk and leaving the locked container on the wall open so housekeeping for sure knew (very unsanitary-pray for no coronavirus) 2) the water dispenser did not provide COLD water, only room temperature water (very annoying). There is a very nice and large partially covered sitting area outside in the back along with a couple of very nice BBQ stations. Ther was a large pool which will be nice in the summer! All in all, this is a very desireable hotel, but be wary that most of the guests seem like they are oilfield workers and there is always mud and dirt tracked into the hotel, but that's to be expected around here.…

This gets the top stars rating. This just opened in August. Is is clean and better than ever. The handicap rooms now have two queen instead of just a king. There is no nasty carpet..well designed too. I have stayed in tons of hotels so trust me when I tell you it is awesome. The staff from handiman, housekeepers to the front desk welcomed you asked you if there is anything they could do. Welcoming when you come back into their hotel. Big spacious place to hang. Many outside places to sit qnd enjoy. Bbqs to cook on. I just loved this hotel. You wont be disappointed.. Down side no Hot Tub Or Jacuzzi.
