I like staying at this hotel, every time I walked in I would grab a fruit and a cup of fruity water. It was clean and quiet, all I needed. It has Saltgrass steak house in the same parking lot, and other fast food places really close.

I have stayed at this Hotel the last 3-4 trips to Odessa over the last few months. The property is maintained well and the staff are very friendly.
It is on the edge of town but there are quite a few good restaurant choices within walking distance.

Staff is very helping nature and friendly. We as a family enjoyed staying at here. Kids enjoyed as well. Room services were good. There was a good hygiene practice by staff due to COVID19. Good Restaurants near by and Place is safe too.

I’m very dissatisfied. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser by the eating area and the weight room. No hand wipes in weight room to wipe down equipment. Neither of the computers work and was told they haven’t worked in two months! I would NOT recommend.

The check in process went smoothly. This is a typical, newer Residence Inn. A good location with several restaurants located in the parking lot. The room was clean and typical of the chain. Nothing good about it, nothing bad about it. The location is key here.

We always have a good experience at Residence Inn and this was no exception. We like the extra space, full kitchen and nice breakfast. We even did laundry (on a long road trip!) and that worked out great. It was nice to cook in for a night too!

Upon check in, I asked for the Marriott Elite upgrade and was told by the front desk that they could not change my room type (I was staying on points). Checking their web page after check in, of course upgrade rooms were available.
Why does Marriott promise if you stay in their hotels and achieve elite status that you will get better rooms?
With my experience eighty percent of the time being an elite member has been no different or worst than someone who walks in off the street.
Marriott seems to like to promise but not really live up to those promises!
When I run out of points I will stop using Marriott and encourage others to do the same until they actually value frequent stayers.

Nice, big and comfy rooms. Decent buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed our one night stay here and would be back to Midland. Plenty of restaurants around the area. Surprised that the room was so pleasant for a 3 star hotel. The front desk staff was extremely friendly which is surprising as we are used to rude employees in small cities. It was a pleasant surprise for them to be so nice and accommodating, as well.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much. In this part of West Texas, I have not experienced very nice hotels from previous stays in Lubbock and just average stays in Hobbs, NM. I was very pleased with this stay. The rooms are huge. I have friends in Boston with apartments smaller than this room! The room was very clean with nice amenities in the kitchen area (fridge, stove top, microwave, dishes, dishwasher).
The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices, and the coffee was really good. Staff was friendly and efficient. I did not partake of the evening reception, but it was advertised as having a waffle sundae bar, as well as the usual alcoholic beverages and snacks. I got a good night's rest -- the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet with light-blocking shades. The Internet service worked well. Got a great deal on Priceline!

Midland and Odessa are extremely expensive for hotels. Whether it's a one star or a three star, you can expect to pay $100 plus. We found the Residence Inn property in Odessa and booked it for $119. A great deal.
The property appears to be brand new. It is about 3 miles off Interstate 20 but worth the little extra effort to get there. Check-in was simple and we were asked whether we wanted a room on floors one, two or four. We chose two for no particular reason.
The rooms were spacious with a large king size bed, pull-out queen sofa, nice kitchen, huge shower and all around clean and nice. The hotel is also pet-friendly although we did not see or hear any pets during our stay.
Breakfast was great. Warm breakfast with eggs, sausage and potatoes and waffles. Cold cereal, toast, bagels etc. was also available. Breakfast was included in the price and was served from 6 - 10.
There were two nice restaurants across the street which was very convenient for the overnight guest like us. The grocery store is about 5 minutes away for those looking for a more extensive food list.
Overall a great property and we would stay here again.
