First, how did this place get 3 stars? The star giver needs to be fired! I did not feel safe here at all!!! Outside our exterior room a man sat in his car playing the bass where it rattled the walls. This went on for hours! He sat in his car outside of a room where a man and a woman were coming and going from. These appeared to be less than savory type of people. It appears as though many people are living out of these rooms, which I get but it’s not because of work, it’s because of homelessness or they are “working.” We checked out early and left. I know this makes me sound like a judge Karen and I’m not. I just did not feel safe at all. I reported this to the front desk and they weren’t concerned at all. Now, let’s get down to the rooms. DATED and dingy. Cant comment on the beds because we left. The exterior is falling apart. The pool was packed and the water was foggy with debris floating. There’s no social distancing but they require temp checks to get into the pool area; that’s cute. The mini golf area was clean and the playground area was okay. The carpet in that area was very dirty. If you want to stay somewhere to for a playground then you’ve found the hotel but if you’re looking for safety, cleanliness and comfort you need to skip and go somewhere else. This place needs to be changed to a 2 star. Yuck

We came in from Lubbock, TX for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful. That is the only positive experience I can pass on about this hotel. The non-smoking room smelled so much like an ash tray. All of our stuff smelled like smoke. My 5 and 6 year old went swimming. There were a million kids in the pool. They were being wild and ill mannered. They were holding my 5 year old under water in the hot tub and kicking his hands so he couldn’t hold onto the side. They almost mowed me and my small children by running through the hotel. It did not appear that the hotel staff was monitoring any part of the hotel. If you want to smoke dope or act a fool, this is the place for you.

The outside looked like a carnival, but the inside looked nice. We soon found out, however, that the circus was just beginning. First of all, don’t get in the elevator. It got stuck and the police eventually had to be called to rescue them. There is entertainment for kids—pool, mini golf course, ping pong table, and play place. The lobby was jam packed, however, and so was the pool (we stayed here on a Saturday). Like others have said, at night the children disappeared and were replaced by an even rowdier bunch. Oil field workers and cheap hookers loitered in the lobby as there is also a small nightclub in the hotel. If you want a quiet night’s rest or a safe environment for your children, this is not the place. If you like to be amused by absurdity or if you want to score with a drunk, ugly hooker, this might be up your alley. P.S. There is happy hour. I enjoyed that.

It seems several reviewers have had a bad experience here but ours was just the opposite. We stayed on a weekday so maybe that was the difference, or perhaps they have gotten better? The pool was great, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was awesome! Beautiful atmosphere!

Whatever any of you do! DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!!! There is drug dealing, prostitution, and Drug use everywhere!!!! There was no security doing anything about it... I paid good money for a 2 room sweet so we could enjoy this place. The pool was filthy the restaurant was a joke and the room was ran down... I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!!!!! If there was a choice for negative stars this place would be a -10!
