I was pleased this time that all the construction was done.2 things the tv is very small in the rooms and cheese added to eggs everyone don't like cheese on their eggs...the staff was very friendly ...the hallway had a mold smell
We called ahead and the Desk Clerk gave us a very good recommendation for nearby dining. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was comfortable, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was certainly adequate with plenty of coffee!
Room 314 is huge - we had 3 teens with us and we all had beds and room to enjoy along with a bar and giant island/dresser/desk . Friendly staff! They allow dogs so plan to be around a lot of them and hear loud barking. One in particular aggressively barked at everyone that walked by it . The tiki bar was nice but pricey - to be expected. But weak for the money. Bartender said to mention it here. So there's that ... Breakfast area should be twice the size - too many people crammed in like cattle trying to feed 🤣
Everything was clean and sanitized and the staff was very personable and efficient. The location is perfect because you can get to the casinos quickly that are in Louisiana and still return quickly to your home in Texas.
Hotel in under renovation, full breakfast that was really good. We were in room 223. There was a strong chemical smell that kept me awake and was offensive. Reported to front desk. Was told there was a paper mill nearby. It wasn’t that sort of odor.
This hotel is undergoing substantial remodeling. All hallway walls are in a state of disrepair awaiting new wall covering. Room decor is very dated as well. The swimming pool was out of service. They did have sufficient supplies to maintain Covid safety.
Just a run of the mill Hampton Inn. When I stayed they were over priced due to hurricane clean up but, hotel was mostly vacant. Assume that was just priced to maximize profit. Overall bleh stay, the few employees I did come across seemed less than thrilled to be there
The stay at this Hampton Inn was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is right off the interstate, and there’s a Chick-Fil-A and Starbucks less than a mile away.
My family evacuated to Orange, TX due to Hurricane Ida. The service we received while at the Hampton Inn in Orange, TX was outstanding! From the housekeepers to the cool to the front desk/reception the service was impeccable.
staff wonderful and very attentive. i would highly recommend this hotel if your seeking a place to stay. The location was centrally located and close to the interstate. Parking was exceptional with in walking distance
