We had a lovely, peaceful overnight getaway at Fig Tree Manor. The property is beautiful and comfortable. The pool is inviting. Next time we will bring our bathing suits! The cats are sweet. Christy, Tom and Holly are perfectly hospitable without being in the least intrusive. Tom's breakfast skills are on point! This is truly an oasis.
The Fig Tree Manor is a lovely bed and breakfast in Palestine, Tx. We stayed here after riding the Polar Express. The Inn is within walking distance of 2 or 3 eating establishments and a few desert and coffee spots . You can even walk to one of Palestine’s many antique shops. Tom, Christy and Molly were wonderful at welcoming you in. I especially enjoyed visiting in The evening with their sweet cats. Breakfast was wonderful as well!
This bed and breakfast is one of the best I know. The owner Tomas and his wife are very friendly fellows who will make you feel at home. They only have 4 rooms so better make a reservation. The victorian house is full of very cool cats, the breakfast is wordl class and by night you can have dinner at Pint and Barrel Drafthouse which is 2 minutes walking down to old historic Palestine district. Don't miss it!!
Stayed here for a long weekend with our two almost adult sons. We were spoilt by Christy, Tom and Molly, who treated us like family. We had Marigold/Marjoram rooms, everything was just wonderful. Old historic house with all modern features beautifully decorated by Christy. Big pool in a secluded garden with gazebo at the side of the house. Lovely backyard with old pecan and fig trees perfect for a quite reading with the sound of birds all around you. Breakfasts were delicious and per our request Chef Tom prepared a fabulous dinner on our last evening, he even made monkey bread for us the next morning (in addition to regular breakfast) when he learned one son loves it and packed leftovers for him to go too! Can’t beat this BnB! The bonus were the cats, we all like cats but our 18yr old was in heaven! We frequent BnBs but we left this one feeling loved, warm and definitely want to come back, would love to see this property in spring time! Thank you Christy, Tom and Molly! …
One of the most beautifully appointed homes I have ever seen. Built in 1895, this boarding house-turned-B&B offers comfortable vintage furnishings that dazzle the eye thanks to the polished style of host Christy. Host Tom is a gourmet chef so you do NOT want to miss breakfast.
