We did not have reservations so we stop by this motel for the night. They provided bed linens and towels and that was it! The fridge had no ice trays. They couple next door from Canada said they drive down every year but have to bring pots, dishes, etc. If you are staying one night for about the same price...

We repeated a stay here again. Apartment like living with South Padre Island just a few miles away. Close to stores and food. Staff and owners friendly. Will stay again. Reasonably priced for being so close to SPI.

The motel looks to me like it has new owners and is undergoing renovations to revitalize it. It was a very cold for Texas day when I checked in so I did not use the pool but the heat in the unit was great and it was a kitchenette so I could cook supper. The unit was very clean and...

We so enjoyed our stay at Port Isla Inn! We loved our room and the way it was set up! We were able to cook breakfast in our room due to the full service kitchen! Just remember to bring your own plates, pans, cups, etc! We would definitely stay here again! Fantastic price and nice accommodations!

We went there for 4th of July holiday and we payed 3 or 4 times of the worth(what it usually would have cost). We usually go for the places with the full kitchen because we are particular about what we eat . Therefore we fell for the "FULL KITCHEN" advertisement. When we checked in, first thing I opened the cabinet....

Great having a separate bedroom, especially when traveling with a little one and she needs to be put down for a nap. I loved the open space because it gave her plenty of running around room so she didnt get bored. Staff was very friendly and attentive not to mention the location of the place is fantastic as it is...

needed a "last minute" hotel in the South Padre area over Labor Day weekend. The prices on the island were very high. figured that 3 miles was worth the $100-200 night difference. Not certain that is really true. This would probably be motel 6 level but with a kitchenette. We did not need nor use the kitchen and really could...

Great value but cleanliness was sacrificed in the process. Floor was swept but not mopped resulting in areas of the hard floor which felt tacky. Made the mistake of walking barefoot when I first arrived and ended up with black feet. Pull out couch was filthy with trash and crumbs and the mattress was gross. You must bring OWN SHEETS...

Rooms are decent. Best thing about them is the size. There's a kitchen, 4 person table, a small bedroom with queen bed and tv, and a bed when you enter the room along with another tv. The restroom is in the separate bedroom. Walls were dirty, towels looked old and dingy, floors were dirty and not mopped. Restroom mirror had...
