The cabins are perfect for a small family, but there are no televisions here. Visit the Terlingua Ranch Lodge website to see pics. There are four rooms in one "house" unit. each room is a rental, and it is a large bedroom with no dressers; just a nightstand and clock radio, and lighting. A small bathroom with combined tub and...

16 miles off Hwy 118 with 3 miles unpaved about 16 miles before Study Butte/Terlingua . The first time we went down the road pulling our trailer, I can not publish the words my husband was saying! But once in and once out the drive became "shorter. " Staff very friendly, camp site clean and spacious. Here you can have...

We stayed here two nights over spring break. The room was exactly what we needed--a clean and comfortable place to rest after a long day at Big Bend. The rooms are no frills (no TV, coffee pot), but we kind of enjoyed taking a break from it all. The lodge has a restaurant on the premises, the Bad Rabbit Cafe,...

Quite a ways from Terlingua and Big Bend NP. About 15 miles on main road from Terlingua/Study Butte, then 13 miles on paved road and 3 miles on gravel road. The scenery was beautiful, but it is in a remote area. The cabin was quaint, with comfortable beds. The restaurant was decent, although a small menu. The sunset was beautiful...

Clearly not what the sour reviews in 2015 suggested. Pleasant oasis of basic comfort way down that amazing road into the Christmas Mtns. Welcoming, very informal, and as other reviewers have observed, startlingly clear carpet of stars, darkness and chance to see what life can be without cellphones or TV. Big Bend Park near enough to get a full day...

We decided to get away from it all and decided to stay here. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Love the views and the beauty of the scenery. Unfortunately it is not a good place for a restful nights sleep! The lodges are fairly empty, so we thought we were lucky to have the duplex and the...

We stayed at Terlingua Ranch for the Thanksgiving weekend. The room was clean and recently re-decorated, with comfortable beds (memory foam mattresses) and lovely views. It appeared to be one quarter of a double-wide mobile home structure. The bathrooms were fairly well sound-proofed, but the walls between the bedrooms weren’t, despite the pine paneling. We could hear our neighbors talking....

We stayed in the lower RV campground of Terlingua Ranch Lodge for the week of Thanksgiving 2016 while we were visiting Big Bend. We enjoyed our stay here. First, the pros: •Everyone we encountered were very friendly. •We had 30 amp power and water at our site. •The views were beautiful. •The bathrooms were near by and they had hot...

We rented a Duplex here for our weekend stay. This is not a 5 star resort. This is an older place but was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Our duplex had two bedrooms a kitchen, living room and a single bathroom. You can check out cooking utensils from the front desk if you want to cook your own meals. I...

OK let's get this out-of-the-way. If you require room service, Egyptian cotton sheets, and cappuccinos with designs made in to the steamed milk this is a place not for you. However if you're searching for an offbeat place situated in one of America's most beautiful natural surroundings this might be your home away from home. From Steve at the front...
