This place feels like home! The decor is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable and the owner is absolutely delightful. Wish all my business trips could be this enjoyable! Stayed in the carriage room which was very cozy and plenty of space. May have to make it over this way again on a pleasure trip.

What a treat to spend my birthday-day at this beautiful B & B! Ruth made us feel right at home and there was a bouquet of fresh flowers in the Lavender Room to welcome us! We were able to enjoy the ambiance of long-ago with the furnishings, high ceilings, and ripply windows of the old house; yet, the modern conveniences...

Ruth is delightful, the house is large and comfortable, and the location was great for a family reunion in Woodville. It was very sweet of her to bake brownies for us to have when we came in that evening. Its a nice option instead of staying in one of the local hotels, especially for a group.

King size bed, large tv, spacious tub, and a tremendous breakfast. The outdoor patio is a nice area to enjoy a calm night. Ruth is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Will stay here again if ever in Woodville.

My family had the BEST time here. The B&B was extra clean and decorated beautifully. It was quiet, yet located close to everything. The owner, Ruth, was just a delight. And she cooked a fabulous breakfast. Will recommend Village Street to everyone I know. And we can't wait to go back !!!!

As soon as we opened the door, the scent of banana bread welcomed us! Wow, what a beautiful welcoming place! Enjoyed the stay! Felt so pampered! Cooked wonderful breakfasts every morning! I feel like Ruth is a new friend. Want to go back soon!

Ruth and her family have created a 'home-away-from-home' with the Village Street B&B. Ruth has thought of every detail to make her guests comfortable. She stocks each room and bathroom with every amenity imaginable from ear plugs to fluffly socks! I am looking forward to my next visit, this place is a true gem in the Piney Woods.

I felt I was at home very relaxing and clean B&B. My husband and I just sat out side and enjoyed the quiet country. It was a big break from the city traffic and fast pace life. Thank you for your attention that you showed to us and for welcoming us in to your lovely home.

Village Street B&B is like a little piece of New England transplanted to the South. Loaded with lovingly maintained antiques in an authentic Victorian home, it's filled with charm and comfort! It's also spotlessly clean, an important factor for me, as the former owner of a B&B myself. The innkeeper, Ruth Hollingsworth, does a magnificent job of making her guests...

If you want to experience true Texas hospitality, spend a night or two at the Village St. B and B. Ruth and her family couldn't do more to make your stay comfortable as well as unforgettable. One can use the 100-year-old home as a base to explore Big Thicket National Park. Ruth makes sure no one leaves her house hungry...
