The Recapture is the perfect place for people who love to go and spend the day doing things and then return to a comfortable room (with fridge and microwave) to relax and visit with other folks who are sitting out on the long verandas or take a dip in the pool or sit in the hot tub to soothe the...

What a treat to spend two nights in this beautiful place. Wonderful outdoor feel, yet everything was at our fingertips. A refrigerator and microwave graced every room. Comfortable chairs were located outside each room for easy conversation with friends. Grills were available to all guests. We had a great home-cooked dinner on our second night. We used the spa each...

We came here after spending the previous night at the Hampton Inn in Kayente ($200+), where we had to change rooms because the (noisey) AC didn't work, there was no fridge in the room, and the bathroom tile was incredibly slippery. At Recapture we paid $85 for a room with microwave and fridge, quiet and efficient AC, tons of personality,...

This was my first visit to the Recapture Lodge; my partner has been here many times. I found it to be absolutely delightful: clean, comfortable, quiet, located perfectly. The owners are so welcoming, kind, generous and knowledgable. The porch outside our room was the best place to relax, read and enjoy a coffee. We even had a small hummingbird nested...

What a great place! Everybody we met was delightful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the continental breakfast was good. We only stayed one night but I would love to go there again.

After reading reviews on TA, we thought this was going to be a great find. It's just an old motel that's holding on because it has friendly owners and kind of quaint charm. We were given a very small room and were disappointed after the long drive. The town is kinda cute and we were glad to have been in...

We stayed here 2 nights on our trip through the southwest of the US. Staff is very friendly, Jim pointed out the time difference between Arizona and Utah so we would be in time for dinner. Complimentary breakfast is cosy, you just sit down with the others guests and there's enough to get you started for the day.

Tried to stay here on our trip through Utah after seeing Natural Bridges National Monument and oh, what a mistake. After killing the 4th roach with 30 minutes of check in, we decided to pack our stuff and drive the 2.5 hours home and sleep in a nice clean room without thinking of all the roaches crawling all over the...

Bluff is really out in the sticks. However if you want/need to stay in the town we can heartily recommend Recapture Lodge. Rooms are adequate and very clean. The owner is delightful, full of useful information and went out of his way to help guests.
