After 4 days in the back country the comfy cabins, clean showers, and delicious cafe were the perfect place to recover before the drive home. In the future I could also see this being a great location to use as a base camp to adventure the incredible trails, canyons, and fishing holes near by.

My family stayed for a couple of nights in the cabins at Escalante Outfitters. For the most part, we enjoyed our visit. The cabins are small and the bed in our cabin filled about two-thirds of the floor. My biggest issue was that the bed was too soft for my tastes, as I prefer a firm bed. My children were...

The Escalante Outfitters offers awesome lodging in tiny log cabins that just fit a bed. The office/shop/ restaurant is really quaint and offers great food, local knowledge and hospitality. It appears that all the locals hang out here for a coffee or fabulous pizza. Definitely recommended for an overnight stay or for a longer stay to explore the spectacular surroundings...

Each of the quaint cabins are maybe 10x8 inside, which is just enough room for a queen bed, a night stand, and a small table; they are charming, if bare bones. Personally, a second pair of pillows would be a nice addition, as their wasn't a headboard. Bathrooms and showers are in the very clean communal bath/toilet building, where hot...

I had never been to Escalante before so I had no idea what to expect when we were booking our tiny cabins. I thought it would be a step up from a tent but still "roughing it" a little bit. When I got there I was so impressed. These tiny cabins were so cute, clean and cozy. Had nice bathrooms...

The bunkhouse was a perfect place for our weekend trip - the cabins were clean, simple, and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. And as an added perk, the bathrooms were wonderfully warm and the showers had great water pressure! Highly recommend getting pizza at the restaurant during your stay.

When our backpacking club had to postpone our plans due to some ugly weather one night, the owners were friendly, informative, and inviting during our stay. The bunkhouses and bathrooms were cozy and clean (even with the snowstorm), and the food in the cafe was great! Overall great business in Escalante, and we can't thank them enough for accommodating us...

This is such a wonderful place! We love the little cabins (clean, simple, cozy), the restaurant (great coffee, tasty breakfast) and the shop (we probably spent more than we needed to on cute Prana and Mountain Hardware clothing). The shared bathrooms are clean and the grounds are well kept...even though there was snow on the ground...We recommend this place for...

Just a brief stop on the way west. It was a very nice experience. Simple and cosy! I really liked it, the rugged and handmade touch is something that suits well with the mountaneous wild west scenery. The interaction was personal and friendly. Maybe the shared bathroom is not everyone's cup of tea but you know that before you book,...

We enjoyed staying with Escalante Outfitters over Thanksgiving break. The cabins and showerhouse were very clean! Great customer service! The rooms have bunkbeds or queen sized beds. There is a common covered area with picnic tables. Escalante is a small town with a Wellsfargo, grocery store, a few restaurants and gas station. Peekaboo and Spooky slot canyons were our destination!...
