The owners were very friendly and welcoming, checking in and out was a breeze and they gave me some great information on the area.
This is an older style drive up motel but the room was a decent size, the furniture was in good condition...More
online reservation was for $12.00 less than when checking in. No option than to take the room..
bathroom needs remodel. overall, outdated, but reasonably clean. In no hurry to book again. on line rate should have been honored.

I needed a one-night stay as I was passing through on my 2-week vacation and based on the reviews, thought it would be 'safe' bet. It was just ok. Considering Monticello is out in the middle of nowhere, I guess you can't expect too much....More
Nice staff, no breakfast except for in-room coffee maker. I went to Maverick across the street and bought some coffee. Room was clean but crowded and had no comfortable chairs. Good walk-in shower. WiFi was OK. Didn't try the TV.
