There was no security when we stayed, about a month ago. However, the crime rate was unknown to us, we walked around outside at night, went to our vehicle, just walked all around, with our 3 year old son, and never saw a thing and were never bothered. The hotel itself is very secluded from the rest of the town. I felt incredibly safe.
