We spent a week in the Mountain Suite while we explored Zion, Bryce, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The location of the lodge was a perfect base and a lovely spot to return to after a day of hiking and driving. Michele and JC are gracious hosts and gave us the warmest welcome I've ever received at... More

My husband, pup, and I just spent four nights in the Cliffside Room of the XbarH Lodge and are already looking forward to our next stay! We had been wanting to see Zion and Bryce for awhile now but hate leaving our dog behind so we were really excited to hear about the this lodge where we could bring our... More

Such a charming, spacious, unique place to stay owned and run by such gracious, generous, and wonderful hosts, Michelle and J.C. My new husband and I ended our week-long mini-honeymoon at XbarH lodge based on the recommendation of friends and their proximity to Zion and Kanab and we couldn't have been happier. The lodge has all the comforts of home,... More

Very spacious and comfortable. We rented the Mesa Cabin for the first leg of our trip to the Utah National Parks. The unit is very clean and we'll maintained. There were 3 of us and our French Bulldog and we had more room than we needed. The 2 sofa love seats in the living area are also sleeper sofas and... More

We spent just under a week staying in the Mesa Cabin. The cabin is spacious, incredibly well-appointed and beautiful inside, with stunning views of the canyon and surrounding area. Our hosts were warm, friendly and super-helpful, answering our many questions and even offering fresh eggs (from their own flock) on arrival! The XbarH is very convenient to Best Friends, Zion,... We've become regular visitors to this place. You just can't beat it. We rent the Mesa Cabin, which is perfect for our family with three small kids and two dogs. Three bedrooms, two baths, great fireplace, etc. We live in Las Vegas so our kids don't get to wander around alone outside, other than when they come here. Same for... More

My son and I stayed at XBarH while volunteering at Best Friends. The Lodge is beautiful and spotless, but what made our stay outstanding was the hospitality. We brought home a different dog or cat each night from Best Friends for a sleepover and Michelle and BC made everyone feel welcome. Another family (mother/daughter and two dogs) was staying at... Our family group of 10 stayed at XBarH for 5 nights. We rented out the lodge. It was clean, roomy and very comfortable! JC and Michele welcomed us as when we arrived and were perfect hosts! We rented the Mesa Cabin at XbarH and it was perfect. The location was convenient for both Zion and Bryce, the cabin is adorable (plenty of room for 3 people), the kitchen is really well set up with almost everything you have in your own home. Make sure you stock up on beer and wine in Nevada - there is... More

Tucked away in the beautiful Elkheart Cliffs, the XbarH Lodge offers comfortable accommodations in a unique setting, creating the ideal place for either exploring southwest Utah or just getting away from it all. The XbarH Lodge is conveniently located on US-89, just north of the town of Orderville. It's the perfect location if you're visiting Zion or Bryce Canyon National Parks, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, or if you desire to personally experience the easy pace, natural beauty, and hospitality of life in the canyon lands. Beautiful in every season, the Lodge is available year-round and may be rented either by the room or in its entirety. For a more private getaway, we also offer the secluded Mesa Cabin. The cabin shares the XbarH's 75 acre property and is perfect for small groups or families.
