I booked these rooms through EpicPass and arrived at 6:30 pm. The rooms are not cleaned at check in; we notified house keeping that room was not clean on check in and house keeping did not arrive. After 3 hours, still no response from house keeping and we had to clean part of the room ourselves.
My son and I booked a studio for a weeklong trip to Park City. The proximity to the slopes was so convenient. The room was perfect with a bed and pullout sofa. The kitchen was well appointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The COVID protocols were very well displayed and unobtrusive. It felt close to normal but still safe at the same time. Would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting the convenience of ski in/ski out. Really enjoyed the week here.
Staff was very good and attentive. Room was very nice. Love the new fitness room and firepits. The swimming pool near round about and plunge pool / jacuzzi on third floor is great feature. The bellman are very helpful.
We went up to Park City to get out of the heat of the Valley with another family. One family of three ended up in one building and mine in another. We requested we be in the same building at least. We arrived earlier than the rest of our family, got unpacked, settled and later found out they were in another building. The air conditioning did not work in either of our rooms in separate buildings. It was miserable at night. We could of been cooler in my own home. Needless to say no one slept in two nights. In addition I have never stayed in a place with no fan in the bathrooms. The room would get extremely humid after three people showering along with not being able to cool the room. The first morning, while waiting in the Lobby one of the employees behind the front desk loudly said, quote. THIS IS FKING B.S!!! as a response to another employee she was talking to. My 8 year old Grandson along with my husband and I heard this loud and clear. I was so mad and disgusted. The two positive things I can say is the grounds were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of dining choices within walking distance.…
Beautiful, super clean ! Great views and close to plenty of things to do . Summer visit so zero crowds . Can’t wait to go back 😀 large lodge with underground parking . Room locations are very secure .
Location is fantastic bit feels tired. The standards for the unit owners really need to reflect the insane prices during the ski season. We stayed 15 years ago and felt it was a much better value then.
A great friends and family vacation spot. So close to ski lifts and restaurants. Loved having a washer dryer and kitchen that was stocked. Ski storage by the lobby was so nice and convenient. I would recommend and definitely would stay here again.
If you are OK with a three-star hotel that is dirty, old, and is run by a fishy-sounding arrangement, then this is the right place for you. In a Motel 6, you can expect a wake up call. But in this place, you can't expect such a service. I was very disappointed with the services at Sundail lodge. We paid more $700/night to stay at this "ski resort" in Park City Utah. When we arrived there, we realized this was more of a 3-star lodge than a "resort." The rooms and hallways look old and need a major clean up. The door of the room closet hits the night stand so that you have to move the whole bed in order to open the drawer in the closet. The most annoying part of my stay happened the last night I was there. I needed to wake up at 1:30 to catch an early flight out of Salt Lake City. I dialed the Front Desk from the phone in room and asked for a wake up call. The lady who answered said she had to check with her manager. But she did take my information and my request for a wake up call. I went to bed and fell sleep around 9:00 pm. About two hours later I woke up with a phone ring, thinking it was my wake up call. The lady said her manager told her they do not provide wake up calls. Needless to say, I was quite unhappy and frustrated. I could not go back to sleep. It turns out when you make a reservation at Sundial Lodging, you actually paying a company called All Season Resort. This other company has a small desk in the lobby, at he end of the front desk area. When you call downstairs from your room, the person who answers the phone is not an employee of All Seasons Resort. They convey your requests or complaint to the other person who then calls the manager - who is off site. So you really don't pay Sundial Lodge when you make a reservation. I felt that I was subject of false information by Expedia, where I had made my reservation and plan to file a complaint with them as well.…
We were so pleased with our condo at Sundial! It was updated and clean. Great amenities, including salt and pepper (which was not provided in a condo when we skied in the East), shampoo, conditioner and amazing robes. We had a view of the village and gondola in the C building. After a few mixed reviews, I was hesitant, but so pleased with our choice. I tried to change our reservation to stay on the Park City Mountain, but wasn't able to do so without losing a good deal of money. I was concerned that there weren't many green slopes on the Canyon Mountain side. We took the cabriolet lift to the city shuttle and got to the PCM without issue. The bus labeling is a little confusing, but others at the stop were helpful, and the bus drivers were helpful as well. PCMR didn't seem to have many more restaurants or shops, so we didn't feel as if we were missing out. Staying on Main St might be fun, but we so enjoyed our location we'd very likely stay here again. My only complaint would be not great lighting in the bedroom with my old eyes and the maid service took our amazing robes and didn't replace them. I called the front desk to request replacement and never received additional ones. We enjoyed using them after soaking in the hot tubs. I recommend the one on the third floor.…
Manager Jeff very kindly upgraded me to a 1BR room with a Forum view, after Trent (front desk staff) brought it up to him. That made for an exceptional first time experience with the Sundial Lodge. It makes me feel that Management values the experience of their customer above economic considerations and will do what they can to achieve that. The valet/ski lounge team (Walter, Ignacio and others) who unloaded my luggage from the car and brought it to the room were extremely friendly and helpful. (Note: This is no longer a service available at many hotels so to have this help is extremely appreciated especially with ski baggage.) The Sundial Ski Lounge enables us to store our skis and boots immediately upon return to the hotel and to put them on just before we step out from the hotel. The Sundial hotel is a less than 5 mixtures walk to the Red Pine Gondola which makes it practically ski-in / ski-out convenient. There is an underground secured carpark provided. The apartment I was in B410B was part of a 2 BR set up. There is a full range of kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, crockery and cutlery which are all very new. Access to washer & dryer in apartment is a huge advantage - albeit they are shared with the next door apartment which makes up the 2 BR unit. All in everything about this experience was great, and the people made the largest difference to the experience. Will definitely be a top choice any time I come back to Park City.…
