Silver Cliff Condos are about a five minute up hill walk to the base of Park City Mountain to the Cresant ski lift. We stayed in a 2 Bd condo on the first floor (condo #105) Not the best condo - definitely needs updating, and you can hear everything above (sure there are nicer ones in the complex) but the location was good to both the mountain and to take the 10 minute walk into Park City.
Stayed for a week in unit 206. Great location and very spacious apartment. Few minutes walk across the car park to skiing. 10 minutes walk to the supermarket and liquor store and 15 mins walk to Main street restaurants. Two large hot tubs and large rooms make this a great choice for skiing.
We loved our stay at Silver Cliffs #204. It was a very roomy two bedroom condo that had an updated kitchen and was very clean and well maintained. Only negatives were you could hear the guests upstairs a bit, but it wasn't terrible. The hot tubs were awesome and operating (2 tubs) and the apartment was stocked with wood. It took a little while to get the wood to burn, so just something for the next guest to consider. Jane in guest services was particularly helpful, and we appreciate all of her help. Overall, we would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting park city! Super close to the base of Park City Mountain. Short walk to main street as well.
This year was the second year we stayed at Silver Cliff, and were not disappointed. We have stayed in 2 different units, both owned by the same couple. Everything was excellent! Don and Rosemary are extremely helpful. Both units (303-larger with wood burning fireplace (do need to purchase wood bundles from store) and 201-gas fireplace, more than plenty big enough for the 4 of us) are very clean, up to date, cozy/comfortable furnishings and very spacious rooms, with everything you need (stocked kitchen utensils, appliances, hair dryer, luxury towels,cozy/soft blankets on the beds). Also, it was quiet, no issue with noise. We had a great stay! Hot tubs were temping, but we did not get to use them. The location is convenient to the slopes (short walk up hill, but not bad, to Park City lodge/ lifts), down the street is bus stop to main street or anywhere you need to go. We walked to 7-11 and grocery store (Fresh Market). Also, heated, in door parking with elevator to each floor.…
Ideally placed opposite the car park, and a short manageable walk with children to the ski hire shops and the main lifts. The apartment was large and airy with very good size bedrooms and bathrooms, and with a very well appointed kitchen.
6 people sharing the condo #102 for a portion of the trip then 3 people. We found the unit very charming with the wood burning fire place and design set up. There were some issues with the kitchen sink which clogged when the shower was running which we reported to the service desk. The issue seemed to be resolved within 48 hours. Hot tub couldn't be closer which was thoroughly enjoyed by each of us. Entry is code operated for underground garage and condo unit which works great in a group of friends to avoid losing keys. Oven could use some updating it seemed to cook slightly unevenly so I ended up rotating a dish I made for breakfast. The salesperson noted we are walking distance from the lift this is true but it's uphill so if you don't want to carry your gear there is a 6$ rental you can leave helmets, backpacks, ski boots etc 24 hours. Despite the minor concerns the price must be considered which is very reasonable for the amenities! Overall this was a solid option which I would recommend to friends.…
Great Place to Stay for a ski trip. Close to the mountain and town. Bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Kitchen updated, living room has a nice fireplace with Duraflame logs there for use. Bathrooms are a little dated, but everything works just fine. Indoor heated parking garage is a great benefit. Elevator takes you from the garage to your floor level. 2 large outdoor hot tubs . It is walking distance from the slopes but with kids it may be better to drive.
This is a great place to stay for a ski vacation for those that want to be close to town and the slopes. The condo building has garage parking with an elevator which is super convenient. There are 2 out door large hot tubs. The unit we stayed in had very comfortable accommodations that met our needs - great wifi, fireplace in the living room, 2 bedrooms with a loft, 2 full bath, updated kitchen and beautiful views. Bathrooms are a little dated and jacuzzi tub was not working but that did not deter from the unit. We were very comfortable there after a full day of skiing and on a nice day it is walking distance to town, and on a snowy day it is a 5 minute city bus ride. You can walk to the base of Park City Mountain (3-4 minutes), but with kids it may easier to drive with their gear. Unit was NON-Smoking only, a big plus.…
SCV is a nice complex but nothing special. The unit we rented (203) is comfortability sized for our family of four. The kitchen appliances are relatively new, but everything else is showing some wear. The kitchen is reasonably stocked but could use some bakeware, new cutlery, and glasses. The unit has 3 TVs with cable but no HD and a poor picture in the master bedroom. The bathrooms have good water pressure but the fixtures need updating. Several light bulbs are burned out. The in-unit washer and dryer set is a big plus as is the proximity to the Park City Mountain Resort base village (an easy uphill walk of 1 block then across a small parking lot). The secured underground garage is also a nice feature.
Location was great, a half block walk to the parking lot of PCMR or to the bus. The Condo we stayed in had a very open and roomy living space. We had more than ample seating for all of us to be together in the living room, dining area or just around the huge kitchen counter top. (It gave us room to spread out also). Ours was a corner unit so we had a lot of light from a lot of windows. Beds were comfy and the room was quiet. The condo had been recently remodeled and is well cared for. All the amenities were there, 4 tv's, game systems for the kids, washer and dryer, fully equipped full sized kitchen, balconies off the living room and bedrooms. Would be a great place to bring the kids. There are a few pictures on RVBO #508159
