We stayed at the Pendry for our first ski trip and visit to Park City, and had the most wonderful and luxurious experience! The Pendry is in a great location in the Canyons with many activities for a family with young children. The entire staff (front desk, valet and bell service, restaurant staff, housekeeping, Compass equipment staff) was warm/welcoming, friendly and extremely attentive. The staff was also really great with our kids and made sure they were happy and taken care of during our stay. The 2 BR we stayed in was luxurious and well appointed, modern and clean. We have stayed at many “luxury branded” hotels and none have impressed us as much as the Pendry! When we checked out, my daughter told the front desk that she wanted to give the Pendry 1,000 stars, which is what prompted this review!

Hotel's Favourite
Arrived and there was a mishap with our reservation. They quickly corrected the issue and took care of us. We stayed in the 2BR/2 1/2 bath room in building 3. It was a great room for the 3 of us. The weather was not the best when we were there so we did not get to hike. We went to Main Street for one of our days. We stayed for 3 nights. There isn’t much in the area as far as places to eat so we ate at the Pendry in their restaurants all nights. The Mexican 2 nights and Kita one night. All were great. Breakfast every morning outside at the hotel- extremely slow service and they would forget things…probably our worst experience. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pits in the evening, listened to live music while waiting for our dinner reservations. Enjoyed our weekend girls getaway. The biggest complaint to me would be the area needs more choices for eating. Go, you will not be disappointed. Was worried after reading some of the reviews but we had no issues. There is a little market around the corner where you can buy wine/liquor and some snacks.

The last time we stayed at Pendry was Christmas 2022. We looked forward to returning and opted to come for Easter, which silly us, didn’t realize was spring break. We love the Pendry and Montage brand hotels and now almost exclusively travel back and forth between them. Pendry Park City: While the food has gone down a notch, which is hard as that was the best feature last year, the staff remains friendly and helpful, but do seem understaffed. The pros- -I really appreciate the cleanliness and constant upkeep of the hotel. Housekeeping is excellent. They were fast and did a wonderful job freshening up our room each day while we were skiing. -It’s a ski in, ski out hotel and in a fun area. -The daily shuttle to downtown is excellent! The driver, Henry, wrote down two separate times we might want picked up. We almost missed the first time, but thankfully he was looking for us and spotted us 2 blocks away and waved at us! That was excellent service, and we really appreciated his patience and thoughtfulness. -There is a ski valet at the bottom of the gondola, so you don’t have to carry them all the way back to hotel if you ride the gondola down!! Amazing. The cons- -We never got to use the hot tub because the number of kids at all hours of evening. We tried each night of our stay, as we would very much enjoy a tub after skiing, but sadly it was packed with kids each time. -We had a weird valet situation upon arrival. Right after we pulled up to check in, the young valet guy made sarcastic remarks about our car. I didn’t appreciate that after a 9-hour drive. The valet is the first person you come in contact with at a hotel. So, as they unloaded our car, they put everything on a bell cart. Somehow my husband's brand-new pair of $2000+ skis didn’t make it on the cart. Instead, off in a corner behind valet stand? How that works, I’m not sure. We asked the valet who pushed the cart inside, and they said there was no other skis. My husband went outside and found them. -Disco pizza is not a food option anymore. Instead, it is just an event space. I think one more food option would really help the Pendry. All in all, I will return again.

Excellent option if you want to ski in The Canyons. The apartments are spacious, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. Ski in ski out with ski valet makes it so convenient and easy. The rooftop pool has amazing views. The staff is ready to please.

Recommend this luxurious resort to anyone looking for amazing relaxation and perfect spring ski/snowboarding location. No need to drive anywhere everything you need is here. If you want to go to the downtown area there is a shuttle that leaves every hour with a great driver (Henry)

The Pendry is not the high-end experience you think you're going to get from a hotel in the Preferred network. There is very little customer service. The staff is sweet but not knowledgeable or capable. The front desk will check you in but does not know anything about the bill or how to charge the account. Should you need to call the front desk while you are staying there, many times no one will pick up. Service is overall very slow. I had to wait over an hour for an order of sorbet, and ask my waiter three times about that order. He was surprised each time that it hadn't come yet and yet he was my waiter. I paid almost $100 for a simple room service breakfast for two, which arrived cold. It's not about the price. I knew the price when I ordered. It's about quality and service. They have a rooftop hot tub which is nice. There's a sign on the door that says it's 21 and over, yet there were kids in it every day. I called prior to arrival and ask the front desk if there were robes and slippers in the room that I could use to go up to the spa. They said yes. There is in fact no slippers. Again, staff lack basic knowledge. Check out was difficult, bellman never came for bags, and bill was incorrect, had to correct before I left. The Pendry is a ski in ski out hotel. However, the access to their lift is treacherous and poorly maintained. It is icy and slippery. There are patches of dirt throughout. The area is used for sledding as well so you have to dodge kids going down on slides. When I came to this hotel last year I attributed a lot of the problems up to employee issues post Covid. However nothing has improved.

Dinner was great, Kita was incredible. Dillion was our server and we will be back to see him! Dillon was the icing on the cake. Best waiter we’ve had in Park city! He will keep us coming back for more. What an unforgettable experience. Will be back soon

Excellent hotel and a great experience! Check in was a little rough as it was peak spring break and they were overwhelmed. But everything after that has been great. We had a 3 bedroom unit that was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. Apres ski options are great too!

For spending $13k on our 5 day stay , Justin at front desk was very unprofessional. Not the service we expected from Pendry. Watch out for them Switching you to Their ski shop and charging you incorrectly. Honestly it’s not about the price, but more so of trust

Pendry holds itself out there as a luxury property, but they have not accomplished this in the Utah facility. They are very expensive for what you get both in the size of the room, quality of the services, food quality and service. Their public places are also too small, people do not know how to sincerely create a service oriented environment . One redeeming factor was the location and ski valet. ( although no boot heaters to be found anywhere on the property.
