We just returned from a long weekend ski trip to Deer Valley with our 14 year old. We stayed in unit 204. The unit itself was incredibly dated, the fireplace didn't work, and the TV was about 20" and positioned in a large, dated credenza however there were so many other positives that made those things easier to overlook. Great ski in/ski out location and very friendly staff. We arrived late on a Thursday night from the east coast (private car service arranged by Trail's End). Check-in was quick and seamless, lift tickets had been printed for us, and the sleeper sofa was made up and ready for my teenager. There was a nice basket of "free" snacks in the unit (granted we had paid to stay there, but we didn't feel "nickeled and dimed" by having to pay a few more dollars for snacks). The one night that we went out to dinner we returned to cookies and ice cream in our unit. What a nice surprise! The included breakfast buffet was more than adequate and to-go containers were provided so we could eat back in our unit. The on-call free shuttle service was great, they set up Skis on the Run to deliver our skis early the next morning and they took our skis in/out every day. The unit had a boot dryer (KEY) and and washer and dryer (ALSO KEY) and I didn't need the detergent that I had packed because they provided that and dryer sheets everyday. Definitely makes packing easier when you can run a quick load of laundry each night to wash ski base layers. The included Apres Ski every afternoon was an added benefit with beer, wine and lots of hot and cold food (enough for a meal if you wanted to eat at 3:30pm). The private hot tub on the porch was nice although if you have other neighbors in their hot tubs at the same time you will see and hear them. We would definitely stay here again. Apparently there is a major construction project starting at Snow Park in April 2022. We generally like staying at Snow Park due to its close proximity to Main Street and would stay here again but would suggest updating some of the units and checking on construction project status.…
True Ski in-Ski out with breathtaking view. Their amazing staff, McKenna and her manager Heidi, Lauren, Pari and general manager Mark Murphy spoil you beyond your imagination. Complimentary breakfast, daily s’more on fire and complementary Cadillac Escalade shuttle in the area. You need any thing just contact this amazing team and they make it happen. Your ski gears are put out and in your locker every day. Enjoy the hot tub with a million dollar view after you come back from skiing. Each condo is uniquely designed and furnished. Heated garage. Did I mention amazingly friendly staff.
My husband and I have been to Park City several times as a couple (Hotel Park City and Montage Deer Valley are both ridiculously amazing) but we knew we wanted more of a condo/cottage setting if taking the kids. Trails end lodge was PERFECT! We prefer to ski Deer Valley due to no snowboarders, padded lifts and all around awesomeness and this property is literally right on the mountain. We hopped down a flight of stairs and were at the ski school for this kids. We loved the private hot tub, large breakfast, the apres ski s'mores & cocktails, the luxury SUVs that will take you wherever you need to go and pick you up with a phone call...too many things to name. The property had a small outdoor pool but we didn't even use it, just hit the hot tub off our bedroom. Park City is such a cool town and my kids (13,8,10) had the BEST time out west. Yes everything is expensive in this area but if you can swing it, go! My kids are really good skiers and I can honestly say they improved 100% after the Deer Valley ski school. So many fun memories on and off the mountain!…
My family of 4 (2 kids in college) enjoyed a great stay in early January. We were chauffeured all over Deer Valley and Park City by the amazing staff here at Trails End. The ski in ski out was excellent. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and apres ski daily, hot and cold food - excellent coffee and beer and wine at apres ski. S’more station at the outdoor fire one night. We had the shuttle SUV take as to and from the SLC airport and had the Skis in the Run bring rental skis to our condo at the recommendation of the hotel staff - which is super convenient. We stored the skis and boots in the common ski locker area and they were placed outside for us by the staff. The 2 bedroom condo was spacious and charming for our family - we loved the private hot tub on the deck and the 2 fireplaces. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly and kept the kitchen spotless- this is a perfect place to stay near the base and St Regis. Staff was helpful in making reservations for us for dinner in Park City as well and got us there promptly. …
I have stayed in the same townhouse a number of times and we have never been disappointed with the level of service and the comfort level. Ski in ski out is very nice to have not to mention the breakfast served just steps away each morning.
Could not have asked for a better ski experience for our family! Trail's End Lodge is conveniently located, especially for families with kids using Deer Valley's ski school. We've stayed at Trail's End twice now, and convinced our extended family from across the country to meet us this time (their first stay in Park City) - they were thoroughly impressed as were we. The breakfast and apres ski are perfect ways to start and end the ski day. Mark and the entire Trail's End staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating, ensuring we had a wonderful stay in beautiful Deer Valley. We cannot wait to come back!
My wife and I, along with our two college-student kids, just returned from a five-night stay at Trail’s End Lodge in Deer Valley, and we all loved it. This ski-in-ski-out property is conveniently (and ideally) located only about one hundred yards from the Snow Park Lodge, with it’s restaurants and shops, and is even closer to the Carpenter Express and Silver Lake Express ski lifts. Breakfast is included and there are enough hot and cold choices to satisfy any appetite. If you like to pop out of bed and slip on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt—or pajamas and slippers— rather than getting on your ski clothes for breakfast, then this is the place for you. The apres ski spread, which included wine, craft beers, and hot and cold food, was something that we really enjoyed. And we all loved roasting s’mores at the large outdoor fireplace! Finally, the manager of the property, Mr. Mark Murphy, is on top of his game. He is friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making sure that his guests have a wonderful experience. Not surprisingly, his staff also are spectacular, and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Last, but certainly not least, the housekeeping staff are top notch—our unit was spotless. We already are planning our return visit!…
We came for an early season ski trip, having been to dozens of ski resorts over the years but never this one. Trails End Lodge blew us away from the minute we arrived. It has a rustic informality, but the accommodations and service are top notch. We started our days with an amazing hot breakfast, wandered next door to grab our skis and jump on the lift for a great day on the slopes. We ended our days with delicious apres ski noshes, a hot tub soak and/or massage, then were driven wherever we’d made dinner plans. The staff was on top of everything and couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating. We can’t wait to return!!
We spent 8 days at the resort and it was fabulous. The people at Trails end were great and took care of everything we needed. The condo was in great condition and the staff kept it clean. They provide an early morning breakfast and it had a variety of selections.
Our family of four stayed again at Trails End- extremely convenient to lifts, ski school and town. Very friendly and professional staff. Not overly luxurious, but the right level for skiing and for a family with children. Full kitchen in condo, hot tubs outside of each room, on-site breakfast and apres ski, covered garage... great combination. One recommendation is to rent a car if you will be heading into town frequently. Highly recommend it.
